If I am on a budget and want to invest in outerwear, do you think I could get away with a trench coat that has a removable liner so I can use the coat year-round until I can invest in more?

I wear my formal blazer all the time with jeans. It's a classic. I adore the camel version being worn with jeans. I only buy cardigans without pockets and refuse to wear anything with a logo. Ugh. I am watching this video three years later - do you think animal prints are classic? I love them in small quantities but I am not sure if they are still popular. What do you think? Also, I recently watched your "How to Tie a Scarf" video and would love to try wearing the in the summer - any ideas?

Step one: put your hair in a ponytail first. Ha, ha. But WOW! You have this down pat. GORGEOUS styling ideas. I needed this video and will definitely try these styles with my outfits. LOVE every one of them. Thank you for sharing. This will be a video I need to return to over and over until I really remember how to do this.

Pretty outfits. I, personally, gave up on wearing black jeans. I guess the only way to keep the deep black color consistent, you have to dry clean them. I only dry clean blazers and coats at this point in my life. I've switched to black dress pants in straight and wide trouser styles and feel more comfortable. Wash and wear with no fading.

I can see women pulling their trench coats out of their closets and running to their tailors! I'm not a big fan of the look, for me, a little too boxy. It looks nice on you. All of the other pieces make-up a great foundation for a capsule wardrobe. Love the accessories.

Good job. Being a Southern American girl I have always loved preppy. Unfortunately I now live hundreds of miles from my favorite Ralph Lauren outlet in the Florida pan handle. I did expect to see a link to a less expensive cropped trench coat. Also, please date your videos. Sometimes we don't to which Spring, etc. you refer. Many thanks.

I’m not such a fan of the bootcut jeans, I don’t seem to find the ones that fit me right, I’m not tall 1 m68 and when it try some it seems like to much jeans at my but like baggy. If I wear jeans their either pretty slim fitted or skinny ones. Yes I’m 55 but for the rest style them with blouses, t shirts, leather jackets or more dressed up. I’m more the creative person and like to play around with jewelry. If the blouse is busy or vibrant, jewelry toned down. I love my shoes and bags matching up more. But the style ideas can help along very much like combinations even for younger people, that I sometimes think okay you say you have a business meeting with a client and wearing ripped jeans and a t shirt? I wonder what boss did allow that and afterwards complained the deal wasn’t done? When I go out on a diner nobody would ever guess I worked as a bedside nurse or nursing aid at home service. For me it was making myself nice for myself and husband feeling good when out at events or restaurant, or weddings. Even when attending school meetings we didn’t go in like Oslow from Miss hyacint the lady of the resident. We made our kids aware getting a job sometimes is reflected on how one dressed accordingly the place. Even when my son as auto body repair person was dressed well and clean. I told my daughter have basics like blacks, dark blues and white and add colors so you have always something that will fit for every occasion possible. From dresses, skirts, pants, to blouses and accessories. Maybe old school but it helps a lot.

I agree to @fallonmills8651. Retail stores don't have enougth staff. The time they need to steam would cost, and if they would steam all clothes in the store, then they use water and power for this. These are also additional costs. All these additional costs the store won't get back from the customers. The clothes in Fast Fashion stores have their prices. The store can't make another price including the addional costs. The principle of fast fashion is low prices when selling a large number of clothes, the addional cost contradict this. This would reduce the Maximum possible profit.

I thought this was Ralph Lauren on a budget, but the links just lead me to Ralph Lauren. So no budget buys there. Very deceptive.

How on earth do they expect us to buy their clothes if they are screwed up like rubbish? For me, it's a big turn off!

Im not buying clothes that are that wrinkled...my Goodwill store doesnt have mess this bad. I used to see only H&M videos this bad not it is Zara too. You have zero idea what this garment looks like and now linen season itm8s go7ng to he horrendous to walk into Michigan Avenue Zara store. I make a buying and vacation trip to Chicago for 2.5 mos every summer from Central America where I live in retirement..lt had better be better than this!! Otherwise it will be Nordstrom, Saks , Saks Off Fifth, Chico's at Watertower Place and vintage stores for me!

I received a dress from H&M so creased that I could not figure out if it was ok or not on me. I had to iron it.

When I worked in an upscale department store and in a small boutique we wouldn’t put anything out on the floor until it was perfectly steamed and wrinkle free.

I never buy anything creased so they're missing a trick

The problem is high street fashion is lacking the quality - and THAT shows.

I once asked a near Bulgarian nurse what the biggest difference was between her country and UK. A moment of thought and her answer: Here nobody cares. She's right. Dishrag clothes for sale - tip if the iceberg....😢 Don't try or buy!

Because in retail there's not enough staff that's why they don't get steamed because they have to do everything else. Companies are reducing staff and expecting the same amount of work, if not more work to be done. Steaming clothes, sadly are not a priority

Im shocked! Here in South Africa even the cheap stores have impeccably steamed clothes 😮 My challenge is always in how to get it as it was instore after i washed it at home. My iron just doesn't give the same results 😩
