I have to agree with a previous comment that lily silk is expensive and out of reach for the everyday person. However Gemma, what I take away from the videos are the ideas and concepts. These outfits are chic and can be replicated for a more affordable look from the high street, so thank you❤
It’s not just the cost of the clothes but the dry cleaning as well.
For those of us on a budget we can find more affordable options that look the same I find it inspiring to see this.

In the 90s my mother used to buy fabric and take us to a seamstress who would make dresses, blouses, skirts etc for us....used to fit perfectly compared to buying clothes that are over priced and the threading are loose.

Outfit inspiration is spot on. I Love Lilysilk but cannot purchase because they charge a great deal more (customized) than their already expensive prices for petite sizing-which is ridiculous!

My issue is being 5ft 3.
Coat sleeves are too long, I have to use a seamstress to alter them. Trouser legs are too long. Plus wide legs make me look square. However, I loved your video, which as given me some ideas.

Agree about the Lillysilk comments. Lovely outfits. But not everyone needs a high contrast striped to for example. I have very low contrast in my skin and hair. I look much better with low contrast stripes or no stripes in my appropriate neutrals. Literally black and white look awful on me.
Sorry, but sick to death of everyone advertising Lily Silk yet again, completely out of the price range of most people. That blue and white striped shirt last year was a complete joke, it was on every single channel.

Far too expensive and out of reach for a lot of women. Most will look for similar look and type when shopping in Sainsbury’s and Tesco’s once they managed to pay for their family groceries. That’s the real world most of us live in now ...
I manage the looks with eBay or thrift shops, beautiful quality fabrics and cuts and even cheaper than supermarkets.
These are TIMLESS meaning they never go out of style. You can get these looks anywhere. Whatever your budget.
Like both sets of trousers but pricey. I'm 5ft 8 so should be fine the caramel toffe coloured top is beautiful. I adore chanel style jackets I have 2 copies. One cream one black ..timeless

Gemma will the slim Lilysilk belt fit a size 12 UK? When I look at the website it looks like it goes up to 82cm but it doesn’t say how the belt is measured. Great styling as ever. Xx

Love your vlogs Gemma. I thought I'd give Lilysilk a go. Sadly I have to report Lilysilk have been a nightmare to deal with. Firstly when I ordered a size small and medium cardigan to ensure fit, they sent 2 medium garments, although the boxes stated small & medium., the garments both had medium tags. Communication with them is terrible. You can’t call them, they are slow to respond and left hand doesn’t seem to know what right hand is doing. Finally, after many emails to them ( & they wanted photographs to prove their error), I got the RMA required to return the items but had to pay for the return myself! Which is frankly a bit of a cheek. The items also took way too long to arrive, so goodness knows when I will get refunded. Sorry but although many items look nice, service terrible , not what is expected from this price point

So sad that lily silk clothing are HUGE I am an xs wait 25 and I have ordered a few pieces and had to return them all their xs is more like a large on me.
I experienced that the sizes are changing! And it uses to be a hell lot of work to get them returned. And one has to pay the package back. I had to return about 75 % of the purchases because of the sizes, which reminded me of a lottery, so I gave up Lily Silk, good quality, when you get a fitting size, but not customer friendly at all: being PERMITTED to return a not fitting garment....no thanks.
So sad. I recommend reaching out to customer service before making a purchase. I did the same, and now lilysilk clothes fit me well because I prefer natural materials.
@@WKKK_NewYork customer service told me, I had to take XL. Mostly that was too tall, but now and then smaller and fitting. That's what I mean about LOTTERY. My size normally is L at the torso and M around the hips. I'm 176cm tall.
Lily Silk offers free custom-made clothing to your exact measurements. It does take a bit longer to receive an order and they’re not returnable, but the fit will be perfect for you (assuming your measurements are accurate, get a friend to help and check). I think all of their woven items are eligible for this, but not the knits. I hope this helps (no brand affiliations, just trying to help you enjoy the comfort of quality silk items, I’m a huge convert to this fabric myself).🙂
