I’ve got mine little over 10 months, and 6000 miles. Love the bike. 😍
Picked mine up 2 days ago... freaking love it. There are three packages. Race. Select and Dynamic. M Spec includes Race and Dynamic. Most non M Spec US models are All three. Basically the M minus the carbon rims. You get the M forged rims with the Race package as well.

The 2020 beemer is 100% going to be my next bike! At 4:39 those successive downshifts is just music to my ears, paired nicely with the ECU flash from Bren and not to mention the scream coming out that AR exhaust 🎶😍.

Im about to click over a year with mine. Also flashed with Brentuning. Im very happy with it and no issues with my carbon wheels or brakes. The only residual issue that is a little annoying is finding neutral which sometimes is relatively easy and other times no hope. Still after a year when you nail this bike to the throttle stop it will take your breath away. Its insane how fast it is.
Ugh yes, didn't mention that but yeah, neutral is still just as much an issue for me as it was on day 1. I've just gotten over it I guess lol

The first generation s1000rr is still the nicest looking to me.
The sound justifies everything
If you get your TFT updated you will be able to display intake temps but you will need to reflash the bike.
Don't you get bored of riding in a straight line? It's easy to open the throttle up and do crazy speeds on a highway/motorway. The real riding is fun twisty roads. Getting it right on a bend feels amazing. Opening it up and then braking hard for another corner. On the limits. That is exciting. Glad we have great roads here in England!
On this bike? Nope lol. I do enjoy the times I can go farther and hit up some hill country roads though that’s for sure.

Funny you have both bikes I am deciding between. With the deals these days I’d say there is a 4-5 grand difference between the base R1 and the select area package on the RR. Is the RR worth the difference or is the R1 the winner here?
I miss my sport bike days! If I could afford a second bike to park beside my 17 Street Glide this would be the bike that I get! I dig that bad ass gauge cluster!!! Once I got into the MC scene I had to ditch my Gix1k for a American made bike (club bylaw) but I definitely miss the power and maneuverability of a sport bike. Thanks for the video man. I just subbed as well.
How long did you wait to flash it ? I know they restrict the Rpm’s the first 600 miles .

Hey what do you mean by unlocking? The special ride mode with the chip? Or do you mean getting it dyno tuned? Does the flashing have to happen at the dealership.
You should testride a few triumph triples, I know i have to haha. They have customizable displays too
Thinking of going from a 2021 ninja 400 to one of these, thats a huge jump. My dream bike is a H2 but i love these s1000s too and its a bit more realistic in my situation.
H2 is only a couple grand more

Awesome vids! I’m shopping between Hayabusa and this BMW you have. I don’t care about track days. I’m just enjoying city riding and some mountain roads etc. Would you say this BMW is comfortable and not too tiring to ride in the city for hours? Busa boasts about comfort on long rides or just local highway daily drives. Would this BMW be good for daily hour or two drives around town?
In terms on comfort both are same....the busa is a bit more stable cus of its weight
The bmw is better on the city... because it's light .also the bmw drinks much less fuel than the busa in the city...it's a bit more tractable
For a race bike,the bmw has a pretty nice seat .and is very agile in its feet
Hey have u had trouble with your carbon wheels cracking? Mine are cracking and I took it into BMW and they refuse to replace them. Their excuse was that it’s not a issue with performance. Let me know.
that sounds crazy ........ the real fast people like how magnesium feels better anyway . i would try and get new cf ones from bmw then sell them to buffer cost of some magnesium ones. my 2 cents

You need to get an update from the dealer, your software is out of date. When you go to my vehicle the pic of the bike should have a RR when it's updated.
Can’t wait to get mine, got 9K saved so gonna put that down soon, also can get insurance for $212 a year, that’s insane

The front calliper has had a new seal kit to stop them leaking, also the cracks on the carbon fibre is superficial
i heard bmw offers a tune to resolve the flat spot issue on that bike without voiding the warrenty have you heard anything about that?

I just bought the 2020 Raven R1, it's a MONSTER bro. I love it so far. I did the tst fender eliminator, the JL Designs taillight and signals, ASV levers, and a Graves slip on (I'm in Cali and didn't feel like getting harassed by the CHP). LOL

I just got my 2020 bmw s1000rr only has 244miles on it, I brought a sc project can carbon fiber exhaust, so when I take it for it’s first service I’m getting it Bren tuned and dyno, was going to have them put the exhaust on as well, but my friend told me that I should by 2020+ BMW S1000RR Stage 2 w/ IAT Relocation Kit and Intake Flapper Removal, do u think it needs this?
What helmet are you wearing? Is it quiet? I ran through 2 helmets for the year and now just bought the schuberth c4 pro for 700 from bmw and it’s noisy as hell..
