Crazy power!!---very exciting but somewhere in the back of the mind says " This bike will lead me into the TROUBLE ZONE". Love your videos--the passion for motorcycling is palpable and the info and feedback feels very real world.
Let's just say, on this particular bike I had two "ohfuck" moments. Things happen so fast that you really need to be on your A game. Too much for my liking, on the road at least.
Good to see a test ride on normal roads Coz all the reviews seem to be on tracks , I ride a 2019 s1000r sport as my commuter bike from march to October every year , looking forward to see how the single R version of this will look when it comes out , it’s looking like that will not be until 2021 now , I like the looks of the new rr , might have to get myself to the Bmw dealer here in Ireland for a test ride to see what they are like, if it’s fairly comfortable on my old back I could be very tempted !!

@@Englishbikerdan So is the suspension comfortable or stiff for road riding when put in the correct road mode ? Because on 44teeth road test Baron said it was stiff and Fagan said it was fine ...
@@644loic Ah, Baron was in Race suspension mode and Fagan was in Dynamic. So you can have both, and set it all up how you want. The electronics are so amazing.

Another cracking video Dan. Been seriously thinking about chopping the SDR SE in for another R1, but have to ride that beauty first 👍. It seems M pack or nothing to me? As soon as Lockdown is lifted, I’ll pay Alton Bahnstormer a visit, thanks to you (that’s what I’ve told my mrs anyway 🤣🤣)👌.

@@Englishbikerdan, had a test ride booked at Alton last Saturday, but didn’t fancy riding it in the rain ☹️, especially with a £2k excess 🤪( warning to other riders to check this). Hopefully picking my M sport up on Saturday and I’ve not even sat on one hahahaha. Act in haste, repent at leisure.
I wish they could do what Aprilia have done on RSV4, because of lots of metal work, keeping my core up right. I find the KTM or Tuono the perfect bikes, but would love to slap some higher bars on a M package. Think that would do me, till I have to give up riding. Love my Beast and Tuono, but the grass is always greener,😂💪💪🇬🇧😎

Nice video, does the seat height is adjustable？i remember u said. there are 3 options, what's the lowest height on this bike？
There's 3 seat height options on the M sport seat, lowest is 814mm.

Loving this bike but whats the plastic crap and screws on top of the tank? They "Transformered" It killed, something simple. Did the guy who designed the front do the rear? The front is so good. They screwed up a nice ass on this bike, not as sharp, looks like they left a slot for a brake light like the old bike but then let a squid have a go with integrated turn signals from revzilla.......and the plastic honeycomb on the pillion fairing,looks a bit dated/cheap.
Hmm... to go for the new RR or wait till BMW unveils the new R? Watching videos of the new RR ain't helping as far as waiting for the R goes lol.
I'm in the same boat but I'm going to wait for the new R.
@@Englishbikerdan yea, I have a 17 R now so should be a great upgrade when the new R does come out. :D
How was the low to mid range on the new RR? Probably won't be as good as the Rs but it sounds like the ShiftCam engine allows the RR some decent torque throughout the rev range.
It was really good from 5k onwards. I'll have to ride the R again soon.
@@Englishbikerdan yea that would be awesome whenever you can do that, I may go for the RR because I want to get a tiger 800 xca so that will be the road/ around town/ tour/off roadish bike

It's pretty muted but there's plenty of aftermarket systems to choose from.

Could you clarify what you mean by "there's 3 different seat heights you can have" @ 9:36? It's the first time I'm hearing about that...
The M seat is available in 3 different seat heights. 814mm, 824mm and 849mm.

Not ridden the V4 but I hear they are awesome.
@@Englishbikerdan In my view, yes. I had a V4, great bike, but this is more comfortable on the road.

That's not what most magazines and reviewers have said.
What you have to remember, people are all different heights and dimensions. For me, it was much more comfortable.
