    You don't need a Z6iii for landscape bruh ..even a D810 would suffice

      The D810 would have better resolution too!

      Yeah was just thinking.. the heavily discounted Z7II right now seems like a better choice for landscapers.

      @@Jviotr Agreed, a discounted Z7ii would be a nice option for landscape. Or even a used Z7ii.

    Great video - another benefit of the mechanical shutter is when you use flash

    Why have you never gotten a Z7 or Z7ii? Or even the Z8 which you can find used for not much more than the Z6iii. As a landscape photographer it seems like a 45mp sensor would be an advantage.

    • @lewiov
      @lewiov Před 2 měsíci

      Not necessarily I have a Z8 myself and I think the Z6iii is a great option. I personally don’t think the 45MP makes sense for most photographers but that’s just my opinion.

      @@lewiov 45mp workflow requires more storage and computer horsepower. I love the crop ability for wildlife. I have used my Z6ii to multishot pano's. When I needed more resolution for large prints.
      I have used my Z8 45mp to shoot events. The larger files look great especially when you have a large group of people in your photos.

    A photographer appreciating the fully articulating screen. Thank you!
    Though I would expect a landscape photographer to prefer a higher megapixel body like the Z7 (II). Pixel shift is neat, but if anything is moving (maybe clouds as well) it's going to not be so great.

      Maybe in the future Nikon will have a flip out screen that satisfies both Video and photos users, like the Sony A7IV.

      Why would you say that? The Z6iii is plenty for most people. Plus he mentioned he was happy the mechanical shutter and its dynamic range. Not to mention price but people don’t really need the Z8.
