For the life of me, I can not understand why positive stories like this about black people aren't being highlighted. All I see is hood life online. We need this message to get out to the young black youth that you can get paid legally!! I've seen so many black professionals in cybersecurity getting paid and honestly had no idea!! I love this.
So much respect for the transparency in these videos !!!.. Most of us who are interested in this field don't know how to get to this level, but with his honesty and not gatekeeping information he just charged the game for alot of us. And to those saying "he saying too much "... No matter how much information you give a person if they dont actively use it, it dont matter.. 95% of the people watching this video won't even do half the things he mentioned in this video !..
Exactly!!! People can get free game and still not use it
This young brother making me proud I don’t even know him. Stay blessed and keep doing positive things!
System engineer here. I can vouch for this , Govtech is the way to go 👩🏽💻
Good pay?
Wow thats great I need to pivot to this sector is a degree really needed
Where do you get your training ?
is there like a website link about govtech?
@@dehvonrennie2096google can tell you all you need trust me. Networking will be key
Good to see from someone being in IT since 2000, but I would caution being on camera, some of these companies don't like their employees being over employed even if you are a contractor
as far as it wasn't agreed on, you're good :)
My boy break-dancing too much in the video 😂😂😂shoutout to him 😅
Just to address some of the concerns about disclosing the fact that he’s over employed, some of us only work 1099 contracts which mean we usually have control over how many clients we have as well as what type of work we will and will not do. I can speak openly about as many “contracts” as I want because I have complete autonomy.
Precisely
Quick question. Is it best to tell the agency you want to be 1099 right away or later on to PMO?
@@japhethbruce5733 That’s a good question, I have seen in one case where a person went from W-2 to 1099. In my case, I usually have the conversation about being 1099 upfront just to avoid anyone’s time being wasted. With that said, It never hurts to ask 🤷🏾♂️ I don’t see anything wrong with onboarding with a company as a W-2 worker and then having the conversation about being 1099 after you’ve built some rapport with them. Worst case scenario they say no, best case scenario they value having you on the team enough to figure out a way to get you what you want.
So motivating man started in cyber last year and I’m aiming to get into periodic access management soon🙏🏾
The production value is crazy 🔥
Thank you!
I can vouch for this path. It works. 200K+

I’m loving that kyle is getting his turn
Shame on whoever says or thinks this man is a scammer etc.... He doesn't have to prove Shut to nobody!! I feel offended that he even had to show his pay because of that! This content has motivated me even more! Thank you for this wonderful video!!!
Precisely I'd said to the host no need to show proof of my stubs. You making your company look bad and also I'm not obligated nor will I even disclose what I make. There are certifications out there even also look into Lean Six Sigma Certifications. Lean Six Sigma Certifications are also Gems and you don't need Security clearances for.
Lean Six Sigma Certifications can also land you six figures too
This is very inspiring, I've definitely gotta start getting those certifications
I’m super proud of this young man.
Thank You for this Video, and Brother Kyle Lawyer for doing this video with you. This video was definitely a 💯. I am 23 years old, and currently pursuing in the Tech Industry, preparing to take some CompTIA Certifications, this video has definitely inspired me, that if he can do it and he's 22, then I can do it too. Blessing & Peace to the both of you
It never ceases to amaze me the stigma of "he's scamming or doing something illegally" when Black men are revealed to be successful. Even showing the paystubs (which I wouldn't have shown 🤷🏽♂), people have already made up their minds according to these comments. Kyle, well done young man.
Exactly no matter how much proof is shown many people have their minds made up
Nothing to do with race. To say any person, especially in IT, is stacking that kind of paper with barely 5 yrs in is suspect. And that’s water you’re Asian or not.
I was thinking the same thing. So sad
Yeah I don’t understand the “scammer” mentions throughout the video… It was very off-putting.
Ms Jetta: “okayyy so you still work a 9-5?”

Thanks so much again for sharing. Always inspirational. I been in Tech for a long long time doing some Network Admin stuff but want to get into the cyber world. Much respect to you both.

Ppl are worried about the wrong thing if they thinking he’s a scammer. Symone, I don’t think you should have let me show his paystubs. People will always find something to hate on 🙄🙄🙄but Either way it was an awesome episode!

Thanks again Symoné 🤙 #InvestInYourself
1000% this dude is a beast. Good on him for making the bag. I'm not hating on that and I don't care if he's working multiple contracts. If the work is getting done, if I was his supervisor. I'd tell him that I didn't know about it.
Great interview, one critique try a setting with less background noise.
Thanks yes I’ve been paying more attention to that
I work 3 email developer/email operations jobs. I’m at about $180k rn pay ranges between 65k-90k each job. Since I’m over-employed, 100k each job would be ideal!

Proud of young bro! Keep doing big things. 👊🏿😎
I'm loving all this, but I despise how our ppl are:
1. quick to being negative
2. Need to see material liabilities to believe anything.
Even if he lived with his moms, didn't have all of the cars, the message and what he do is still just as valid. It's wild that to catch someones attention to being successful within their life, you have to pull teeth. Imagine what he can reach if he held off a little bit less than a decade, without all of the liabilities, either roommating or living with momz.
This was so helpful! Both of you were amazing !

I love the info, but I really wish we’d get out the “gotta prove” theater. People with common sense and good intentions will hear what you have to say. Stating what material possessions you own IS not only secondary, but it allows people to profile you and potentially bring harm to you. Like you do what you do. You’re not catering to knuckleheads and know it alls, because if they’re so busy watching then that means they don’t know it all. Can we’ll we just flow with the knowledge and minimize all the excessive show and tell? We’ve got to evolve past this type of thing-- end of day, be happy and have peace in what you do.
I have a mix of both you don’t like the episodes where people want to show what they worked hard for don’t watch em. Everyone’s lifestyle is different I can’t please everyone on every video. Plenty of information in each video. Material things make up less than 90 seconds in the 20-45 minute videos.
This is awesome. I’m doing the same out in Vegas and been doing amazing
Yea, skills coupled with deep understanding will always speak for themselves!
Dope. I’m about to try to start in Salesforce. I just got my admin cert a few days ago. Gonna work my way up to developer.

overemployed is what its called but its a way to do it. you have to be careful because some employees will talk. The overemployed channel just posted this on their channel. Good money but you need a strategy
I feel like that overemployed life is going to bite a lot of folks in the butt. I'm a software engineer and in my career I've met one person who was fired and another who was fired as well as sued for having multiple jobs. For the second guy it was a multi-year legal battle that he ended up having to pay restitution for. Long story short company A proved that the source code he used at company B was pretty much identical to theirs.
@@fadsa342 I think people will be fine. Its the company that is okay with it is the trick. Dealing with someone's source code is different then answering sales call. You can have two full time jobs in similar industries but do different work in each. What is the difference in doing 8 hours for ubereats and then working your job. Sure one is 1099 but its still work. What is difference in working customer service for delta (w2) and working your w2 tech job? That is the thing the companies have to be okay. If not get them in different areas where its something you can handle. TBH, most of the time people are putting work on fiver or upwork. I wont say any names but they have been doing it for decades.
@@fadsa342 one start up one tech corp the startup doesn't have the time and resources to find out let alone sue obviously the consulting root is better
Additionally, the more that folks shine a light on their own OE endeavors, the more attention it brings. Granted there are only certain career fields that scalable employment-in-parallel is applicable to and honestly it's not for most folks as the prep work, organization, and other skill sets needed are for the above average crowd in their respective industry. There are however HR pundits out there on the speaking circuit making it their mission to expose the phenomenon and try to get employers to root out folks that are trying to get ahead. I don't know much about this guy; he seems to be doing alright for himself and it sounds like he's 1099 (with less risk at play than a W2). Given the overall tempo and negative press toward OE, it's only a matter of time before it becomes increasingly more difficult than it already is and lifestyle creep could really burn some folks when they're unable to keep pace with the inflated income.
I'm about to make the transition to IT this year after I obtained my CompTIA A+ back in January with desktop support
Goodluck Larry!
How did you get the A+ cert?
Watching this video made me realize how far behind I am in life

Best thing about working for government is your only competition is those who have your citizenship so youre not competing with the world due to clearance.
This is fishy lol I dont buy this one bit. Also the murakami flower plushies and the kaws bff plushy on the couch are fake af (timestamp at 8:45). As someone that owns the legit ones of both of those, doesn't make any sense for someone that claims to make that much money to have terribleeee fakes of those. Seems like there's a lot of fronting in this video to appear a certain way and it's just not genuine
It is fishy, yeah there is money in IT, software dev etc...but idk there is something strange going on here. IDK maybe we wrong, but I do know that pay stubs can be faked. And the fact that there is so much energy into proving this person ain't a scammer, random dude walks up and asks the question... It's like we can see there is something odd going on.
I get that some folks want to talk about Job staking and the fact that they work multiple jobs but please try and not bring it on the internet cuz these companies are watching and you wouldnt want them to tighten up these background checks please. Just a little word.
Don’t people who do this only do it for contract hire type tech jobs not full time? How do you have more than one full time job?
@@deshawnman3790 no people do it for full time jobs!! Most contract jobs will allow maybe two but if it becomes more then their contract can be in jeopardy because you might not have time to finish the work.
Job stacking has been online for years now. It’s a whole website dedicated to it lol
Shoutout to his pops man. Cheers to the village. 🎉
Just subscribed. Your videos are very motivating. No way you making that much by onboarding accounts, setting groups and doing remedial tasks. They said IAM engineer several times but not once I heard anything about authentication, least privilege, iDPs, RBAC, zero trust, etc.
🤣 bruhhhh really???
I love these videos but it just seems so far fetched in the current market. But this is def inspiring me to just keep pushing anyway ❤
I’m sorry guys, but as soon as we get distracted with the Airbnb and Turo rentals, I’m already suspicious of what you’re selling doesn’t actually work or as easy you say it is because you don’t have to use all of the bling bling and rentals to sell a product that already sells itself.. We have to learn how to just focus on the education and certifications content.. As we all know being the A if you feel like you can’t sell a product unless you are using a bunch of meaningless rentals and Airbnb then the obvious answer is simply your answer and you can’t sell without the meaningless distractions.. So making $250,000 a year Steve and driving around in $200,000 cars makes absolutely no sense stay focused kids and get the Certs and education so you’re not constantly working for the rest of your life to keep up with the Jones’s..🤷🏿♂️
correct. the income is not mathing with the rent and cars. people who make 400K in one job, do not spend like this. he requires financial education. Even long term rich people know they must live within their income, and invest the excess to remain rich.

Using PAM when I worked for an ECS L1 help desk very early on in my tech experience was literally a nightmare every single day… I hated using PAM bc you literally could not access it to do what you needed everyday! Had to keep asking shift leads and supervisors to get admin passwords was so annoying esp when the passwords were always off the wall
Great interview I’m new at this what are the best schools ? What certification do you start with ?
It’s a shame that ppl have to see his pay stubs to believe him. Ppl already made up there minds being negative Nancy. Keep going young king!!!!I don’t know him and I’m proud of him.
I’m new to the channel and I like it. What is it that you’re actually doing as far as work?. Are you fixing codes? Are you creating programs from scratch?. Is the work easy now that you have all your Certs? I’m trying to wrap my head around about what you’re doing when you are working.
Thats the thing with this videos, they NEVER go into detail or particulars because its ALL CAP.
@@DJKadilac no I don’t think it’s a lie it’s definitely real. After some digging and research on George.Hotz channel, which is a guru coder he goes into detail about what they actually do software engineers. he said they don’t actually even really code. All they do is learn the program, and then the business gives them what they want the program to be and they just put it in the language.
This gave me a little bit of insight to what they’re actually doing.
He said it’s not very rewarding work. But yes, I’m like you I’m very skeptical because I’m wondering how they can make so much money and what services they are actually offering .
He talks about being an expert in PAM Privilege Access Management. It’s pretty difficult to setup but ones it deployed, managing it is relatively simple. Certs help but I’m sure it just helps him land his contracts. He’s not coding that’s more of a software engineer.
He literally stated what he does in the video. A range of things from working reqs for access management, onboarding/off boarding users, PAM, implementations (implementing sailpoint), implemented Cyberark and helps manage it as well.
This is really great news
I’m trying to get into IAM. I recently got my okta professional cert. Is this a good path?
Yes keep it up , you can apply for analyst roles
This is rare for a lot of people to make this amount with no degree
Still don’t get it lol how is he working in 3 jobs and actually working the full time hours for each
You can do 2 remote jobs at once...especially if it doesn't require being on the phone...then do another one during another shift
You don’t. You bill every client for full hours while not actually working the full time. Kudos to people that do that. However, you need to tread very carefully and determine whether you have a non-compete agreement.
Symoné, do you do any mentoring? I’ve been falsely labeled the Terrell Owens of the industry in Atlanta and could use some direction.
