They are my two favorite x-men because they are strong, amazing women.
The fact that they are showing storms hair in different styles and textures show cases the diversity of black woman and our hair.
We have and we do that hair styles with braids those who were their hair in natural styles have showcased that style of mohawk I can only guess those who are badmouthing storms hair are not fermilar with black woman and our natural hair or straight 😉 we have always have been versatile when it comes to our hair so for the artist to show that storm is showing one of most stunning part of her beauty because just because its her hair don't mess with a black woman's hair for me they shown this woman in the most stylish stunning range of ways and I am most definitely here for it this here lady started my love of comics and to see such beauty leave her hair alone we Change our hair like our moods😅😂😅😂😊.

The most IRONIC thing about the fans is that they don’t understand that STORM is respected expressedly so, as one of the most powerful amongst the most power in all of marvel comics. I think that they are so used to not seeing fair displays of her feats n power levels but hopefully this issue is a Chef kiss to fans that have ALWAYS suspected STORM of being capable of executing these beyond omega level potential feats. I’m excited and the mad can stay M👏🏾A👏🏾D👏🏾 cuz I hope she shut the Franklin Richards and Black Tom Cassidy and Wanda and all these ppl down with an undeniable Eternal Storm ⛈️

Storm: A cosmic being and protector of Earth. Now that is the storm we stans have been dying for. It is only natural considering Xavier found her as a goddess on the plains of Africa. Xavier had stunted her by boxing her in as just a mutant and an X-man. But now she is finally getting to spread her cosmic wings and fly, soaring among the stars as the Eternal Storm. LET'S GO!
This is now setting Storm up for her proper movie casting. I JUST HOPE THEY KEEP HER A MUTANT
She has to be a mutant, she also is a sorcerer supreme but her whole godhood is based on her Xgene powers combined with her sorcerer bloodline connected to a goddess

This got me super excited. These past 2 years, im loving the direction/attention Storm has been getting. She's been sidelined for far too long. We have SO MANY overpowered, unstoppable White Superheroes...it's time 2 add some color😂 Storm is the most famous, prominent Black superhero, PERIOD!! She deserves 2 be treated the same as the Phoenix. After all the creator of Storm said her power levels are on Phoenix level & he barely scratched the surface. Storm literally has the power of God, mystical/magical heritage, there's no limit in what she can do. Im beyond excited! I want to see my Chinese, latin, Indian etc Super Powered heroes also. Representation matters. It's 2024. C'mon now😂 About time!!

Storm has been the draw, for me, for over 30 years. I didn't know if we would get more of her after X-Men: Red, but this feels like even MORE than a sequel... but, perhaps, X-Men: Red was just a prologue, and THIS is going to be *THE* series.

Yes! Murewa Ayodele is an AMAZING writer.His book, Akogun: Brutalizer of The Gods is mixed with the kind of African mythology, and fantasy the character of Storm needs to ascend! I'm excited as hell!

I love the idea, concepts amd direction shown so far i really hope the creative team lamds this. AL Ewing did a fantastic rebuilding of Storm and i look forward to now seeing her true be a big character in her own long-running mini series. I'm using my Omega level positive thinking to put it out in the universe that this will run for years.

Hearing you say that Storm will be celebrating her 50th anniversary next year, has me 😲! My introduction to the X-Men began with her debut in the Marvel universe back in 1975. So seeing her growth as a character, and her presence made so prominent over the years, I'm psyched to read this new solo series!

Hell yes. Absolutely excited. Storm has always been a favorite character. Always. She won me over when she fought Calisto. But anyway. X-Men Red.....she was just...holy crap. I had no idea she could be THAT awesome. If you haven't read RED its like a capital crime at this point. I am so excited. But the bar is high. That Storm was truly...a goddess. If everyone didn't know you do not mess with this woman. So VERY excited.
I'm loving that she's joining the Avengers. I wasn't aware of that at 1st. Obviously outside of interactions with T'Challa, I'd love to see more of her and Thor, her and Wanda, and also the Avengers picking up ANOTHER cracked female hero. Man, I said a long time ago that Storm outgrew the X-Men. Even felt they were holding her back in some ways.

Excited for this series, and glad Blerd was entrusted with some info he kept close. I feel like while everyone overestimated the level to which her magic roots are relevant to how she uses her power, it is far more interesting to show us something we all know she can do, but doesn't get to often: MANIPULATE COSMIC WEATHER.
We've had years of ligjtning, wind, rain, blizzards, tornadoes, pressure waves... but it's time to see some solar wind radiation bursts, sun plumes, nebula torrents and other crazy things we can pass off as weather in space.
P.S.
One point of contention as I plant my tongue firmly in cheek; they left out Storm's stint on the Fantastic Four from that greatest hits recap about thief, goddess, queen, X-Man, regent, etc. 😅
I just recently saw your interview with that writer also. Great to see the come up and as always ernie on the pulse of talent and new indies etc.
This made me sooooo happy. They heard us.
My only 2 wishes here is 1- to allow her to use force field bcz she should be able to create that from any of her powers and
2- display more of her electromagnetic abilities, bend energy etc.. not just weather which actually limits her character imo. Her mutant power is still being limited imo.
Isn't she also an empath? Would have been dope to show her connection with nature too.
Her connection with the world in general would be dope.. how she senses things.. I've seen videos that displayed her feats where she's sensed things coming in the sky or can using her power in another location to where she actually is to assist ppl... or sensing where ppl are.. her powers are inate she is one with the planet.. when a bear kept up and she got scared lighting struck.. she's that connected id be great for them to also showcase that more.

After 50 years Storm is finally getting her flowers! I've waited so long and saw so many others excel in their stories. Yet Storm was all but forgotten... I'm so ready for her to get the acknowledgment she so deserves... many times over!
She is always pushed to the side for other characters that for me have been done so many times... I'm literally over the entire character all together and sick looking at them or hearing about them... (cough... Jean & Phoenix) The abundance of which they use that character is gagging... A cosmic being shouldn't be use as a prop.. and should be utilized every once in while... To make it's appearance that more of a "Oh shit" moment. Jean and the Phoenix for me is like Frodo and the eagle's in Lord of the Rings. They don't freaking matter!
So I'm all for a Storm a her "God" like character development. It's what she deserves after 50 years of sitting in the back of the bus. Only allowed to shine when a writer comes along that appreciates what she brings to the table. Which has only been in recent years...
One thing. Storm did indeed have a real mohawk. A Google search will reveal this to anyone. There is even a picture of it at 13:27 in your video. Anyway, you are so right. This is amazing, great, and exciting news!
