We had so much fun with it last time I figured we would watch a few more people play Football Manager and let me tell you it continued to surprise me. Have you ever played without attributes? Played Football Manager for 20 years? Well, yes, I have, but that just means I found a kindred spirit! Their tactics are fun, their teams are interpretive, and their enthusiasm is unmatched.
I do want to make this a series and I really enjoy doing it. You do not realize how different FM is from person to person until you sit and watch it for 20 minutes. Is this how you all feel when I’m playing FM and you’re watching? If it is, that is wild. You’re just sitting there judging the way I do things and wondering if it is better or worse than you have been doing this in the past.

We did go on to win the Premier League later & just last night the Champions League beating Munich in Munich our mission is complete.

Game Speed - That was the start of a long 11 hour stream and we wanted to get the whole season done in one day ( which became a theme ) so the speed had to be up I did slow it down for bigger games!
Tablet - I had loads of tech issues with my laptop streaming in such random quality and I managed to get it better in the stream after this one actually! In my one open slot, I only showed my team as my camera blocks some of my player ratings, & my chat wanted to see that selected.
Drink in question - 100% mega-pint of Cherry juice.
Can I just say that you must be very good at FM, but you’re team talks and sideline shouts were disastrous every time!

When Zealand doesn’t know that we (Zealand’s mods), along with almost every FM streamer, has had to ban that guy in chat. Zealand does have a few other things going on during stream but maybe I should tell him now. 🤣
Yeah - he starts to get racist/homophobic if he doesn't get his way. I recommend FM streamers flag the word Pulisic for review in the automod - helps stop him before he starts

Zealand, I play with the game on full speed. But I am a man who's eyes were trained since CM97/98 to read every piece of text commentary as it went past at full speed. I don't miss a thing.

First guy was using like the 5th highest rated tactic on FM arena, I recognized it because it’s what I use, lol. It’s basically the best tactic that looks like a real formation you would see in real life

Haha I used 3/4 different tactics in that save I just happened to switch to the 4-2-3-1 during this season I think it was! The first 14 seasons were 4-3-3 and 3-5-2!
ive played without attributes for a couple of years now and i dont know how to remove the skin to go back lol. but the game changes a bit at the start but then you adapt and follow stars and match rating for your players. the annoying part is that I myself cant give an opinion about a players abilities because the numbers are hidden or in my case replaced by stars. basically I no longer can directlly judge players I am almost fully reliant on their star rating. but when looking for staff members to hire I can still filter my search to have very 15-16+ judging player ability before I sign them so that work around kind of gives me enough confidence in the star ratings that show on my report. after that it adds a bit more realism but makes you less involved and in control if that makes sense. it's fun tho

Can you do a test about the effects location has on players and whether I should instruct my Brazilians to avoid coming out of the change rooms when playing in Russia in -5 degree weather. Also whether altitude such as in Bolivia has an effect.

Hey Z, thanks for the help. Story time: Started a new long save, bottom league in Sweden. Been a while I was playing in a bottom league... So my team: bit shit, no money... more like making a loss. Looking at players I can't afford and being annoyed... until week 3 and again looking for players (can't afford their wages) and the mind went "Loooooooaaaans looooooooaaaaans loooooaaaaaans". Felt a bit silly it took me that long. :p

These aren't in game, they are songs played on stream when he scores like other streamers have for donations or whatever

Attriubute free works well if you have the right skin, which presents the polygons and report card on the first player page. Its a ton of fun and I would recommend you give it a go!

I play on full, maximum speed for every game. I do not care for any other speed as the game takes too long, which is the least interesting part of the game for me.
I like the internals of the game. By which I mean the building a team/tactics, managing the club, building youth systems etc.

i reckon he’s going realistic, all you would have at your disposal in real life would be to see your tactic, you might have an idea of what the opponents tactic is but you may miss changes that they make mid game , like you wouldn’t be told before the game that they’re playing 4-4-2 for example, however you might think they will
Usually each teams line up is out an hr prior to game with formation, mayhaps lower leagues would be over it but top teams would be all over that, also unless its first few games of the season by a new manager at a club majority of managers play same or similar most every game so wouldn't be to hard to predict

There is a mod in fmscout that changes the attribute numbers to stars. I think it’s pretty cool and makes for a surprisingly fun experiences instead of the same old numeric approach.
