I'm really happy we finally got a nice ranged weapon with the Howlitzer paired with the Goat Jelly it becomes the best option for people like me who do not like close combat.
They have a tendency to drip feed their content which leads to this exact problem on occasion, yeah... Still, in the grand scheme it will all come together nicely!

The new armored bearger completely threw me off guard! I keep up with all of the beta updates and play through nearly every version, so I thought I knew what was coming. At first, I thought it was bugged, seeing as the buttslam wasn't bring triggered, but after attacking a few times behind the guy, he decided then to use it! He got me good and ramped up speed for his ground pound attack but, when the time came, he turned around and did another slam! What a shock! It might seem frustrating, but it really entertained me! I've always been well-versed in the mechanics of this game, and experiencing something unexpected was really fun!
Seems interesting how they keep adding lunar stuff. I personally didn't like the new planar mechanics, perhaps I wait for more skilltrees with lunar affinity to bring interesting effects like the wilson transmutation or the brightshade roots from wormwood. I really hope walter gets a rework and some sort of mechanic for new ranged items.
That update is amazingly OP, however I wish we could have deconstructed Houndius a long time before… Definitely not because I had placed it on a boat 🗿
No, you shouldn't have to at least. Are you sure the rifts are actually active though? They can't just be ready to roll. They need to be actively growing.

I’m just confused if this event is automatically in my world now because of the update. As well as this indefinite? I would just need to have the wild rift enabled? Last question. Would I need to beat Deerclops, and the other 2 near the wild rift in order for them to turn stronger and be a different version of themselves? Sorry for the questions. I’m not sure if I missed it in any of your videos. Thank you for the video though!
This isn't a world setting. This is a content update that is in the game forever now that can be accessed through settings or natural progression through the game. And no, the bosses do not need to be near the rifts.
I'd say there's alot of reasons 1. BS gear tends to preform way more consistently dmg wise due to the gimmicky nature of the Void Gear. BS sword just ends up dealing more dmg than the Reaper 2. It's far easier to amass because it's on the surface and it's faster to get pure brilliance over dreadstone 3. Void gear is alot more Utility oriented with the Umbrella and the Reaper meanwhile we have stuff like the BS bomb and BS staff. Unless your playing Max or don't have access to Lunar rifts it's the better option.
All of this should retrofit into every world, yes! And to spawn them you need to have Wagstaff show up and run in a direction. But if you're talking about the sawhorse you need to give Pearl a chair in order for her to drop the blueprint. Chairs from a Resting Horror or Ancient Chest by an Ancient Crafting Station.
While I really like that they added new and unique content to the game i also feel like it doesnt really belong. With all these new items, armors, weapons and enemies it feels like its starting to stray away from what is a "uncompromising survival game", and is turning into a adventure rpg game. It doesnt seem like its going to get better either, as the devs themselves basically said that the new updates will have a "war" between the moon and shadows and picking sides. I really hope that all this endgame gear means new complex challenges will show up that can't just be entirely ignored by punching them or wearing an armor set.
I hate the new portable fridge. Easier and better to kill BQ, learn the buldle wrap, carry the wax paper and some grasses with you. Besides, the wrap will preserve the food forever and can also keep ANY item inside it beyond food.
I hate how the game has gone from “ow I’m getting damages time to use a football helmet I made out of scrap” into “oh hey look a snurtle time for me to equip my power suit”

why is everyone using brightshade equipment against the bosses instead of void
Because it's better.
What beard said, void gear doesn't have a proper melee weapon and brightshade is much more consistent

No. Either find Wagstaff somewhere or just activate them via the settings.

I also Miss the vibes the old game had. It was something really unique. Now the game starts feeling more like a playable anime
