Does your child know all 26 letter sounds?

I have pre K threes. Do i start with just a few cards or all 26 for phonics?

@toddlwescanread, what do I do when I have thought my child how to write, he has done it over and over so I'm sure he knows how to write but on this particular day hes refusing to write out of laziness? He's 5 by the way

This may be silly but do you teach the alphabet letters before or after ?

Teach letter sound first because when you begin to teach reading you use the sound not the letter name
