I’ve had a 30 year break from RC. Looking at my 3 gold pan AE racers got me back into it. Also found an old optima mid se that I never raced. Too old to race but seeing videos like this has got me interested in the hobby again. You do great work

Probably too late by now but anyways, these enduro24, rgts and injora already struggle on the low end so adding more weight hurts it even more, like you said its about the balance more importantly. The main issue is the huge bulky differential that snags on everything, so what really change the game for these crawlers is to use bigger but light tires, like stock scx24 tires or stock cr18 tires which i am currently running.
Good video Ken, but I would definitely recommend not grabbing the shock shaft with pliers like that, especially on oil shocks. If you need to grab it, get as close to the threaded end as possible.

Hey I have an enduro24 and I been looking at options to add proper ball links do you think the brads skid plate will have engine spacing to install ball end link? I know on the plastic version I couldn't due to the spacing.
They are similar. The axles are ring and pinion though. Also, the servo is frame mounted for a more scale feature and there is an actual transmission and transfer case vs just the SCX24 transfer case.

Good call! We will usually put some masking tape on it to protect the shaft.

The brass one is the exact same. You should try shimming and spacing it though.

Just did full power hobby brass on mine and I’m not impressed in the gear housing or the links. Definitely need bigger tires now though

The Chassis does look similar to the scx24 Chassis that Axial produces.
