  • In 1973 Ferrari unveiled the Dino 308 GT4 at the Paris Motor Show. The GT4 was distinctly different than its curvaceous predecessor thanks to The Bertone design firm, famously known for iconic cars like the Countach and Miura.
The GT4 was Ferrari's first production V8 and it is said that F1 driver Nikki Lauda helped tune the chassis. This was Ferrari's first mid engine 4 seater and it was said that Elvis once owned one. The 308 reference in the name refers to engine, a 3.0L 8cylinder engine pushing out 255hp, and was one of the first cars to introduce a spare tire, which many car companies adopted soon after. In Ferrari's early days it was one of the only cars that could be imported to the US. Needless to say, the Ferrari GT4 is every collectors dream. Our example has been fully serviced & meticulously maintained. The car is finished in red over its original black leather interior. Give us a call to learn more! 954 522 9900

It's highly disputed that Niki Lauda had anything to do with the 308 GT4 as he didn't join Ferrari until 1974 and the car was introduced in 1973. These cars were already in production by the time Niki joined Ferrari, and he never mentioned having anything to do with it. However, the East-Coast importer, Chinetti Garthwaite, placed an ad in a magazine that said he did. It's unlikely that's the case as importers and dealers were trying everything in their power to sell the 308 GT4, but some sat around for two or three years before anyone bought them. Niki's involvement or lack of involvement doesn't make it any less of a car, as an owner I can confirm it's an incredible handling and driving car and will last a life time with proper maintenance. Which brings me to Patrick Ottis. If this car was serviced by him, then that's pretty much a guarantee it's as mechanically perfect as you can get. I've toured his shop as I don't live far from it, and when I need service, that's where I will be going.
