The enemies heavily using Stasis and Strand is a genuine threat we haven’t seen much of prior to Bungie giving various existing enemies random Stasis powers

Imagine the returning enemies having like, one or two Stasis abilities but we get a whole bunch of new House Salvation enemies that are built around the use of Stasis. That way we could fight the new and the old at the same time. A shame that never came to pass, I feel like that would’ve made Beyond Light a lot more fun to play.

@@Ca11ummm8 game needs challenge again. Harder to fight enemies at the same time is part of thr way there and honestly for the better. Champs are a horrendous idea. Forcing specific weapons just to stun them doenst make them hard to deal with just an inconvenience. Lightbearer hive we’re a good start then tormentors. Enemies that don’t take a specific weapon type that changes season by season. I feel like the dread will be the enemy that’s somewhat hard to deal without adding champs

I love the respect that the Dred give before fighting. Having them recognize honor by bowing and nodding their head at us gives them a since of intelligence and character. It feels like instead of “I’m going to kill this Guardian!” it feels a bit more like, “I shall grant you a warrior’s death.”

I've always found it so cool when enemies bow to us before a fight! In a place like the Pale Heart and with an antagonist like the Witness, it feels fitting that amidst the battles we'll have, we'd have an odd sense of... respect?
It's like they're saying "You are here. I am here. I acknowledge your experience and power, just as you should acknowledge mine. You have my respect, Guardian. Let's see which of us makes it out of this alive." IT'S SO AWESOME

The Dread are brimming with personality and I love it. Especially the Subjugators, with their signature look of superiority but also respectfulness. They’re going to murder you, but they’re very polite about it. That pre-battle bow is just so lovely, the Dread are really shaping up to be the faction with the most personality. Which is ironic given the fact what we know heavily suggests they are essentially just emptied out husks.

I thought Harbingers and Subjugators were different too until now. So from learning this, Omens are Blue Subjugators using Stasis while Harbingers are Green Subjugators using Strand.
Kinda like Elite Spec Ops and Stealth Elites. Both different in color but have similar things going on. Same for Halo Hunters, those firing focus beams are Assault Hunters while golden Hunters firing fuel rod shots are Flak Hunters, look similar but have different equipment. Admittedly, I'm kinda nervous to fight a Subjugator boss that uses both Stasis and Strand at the same time.

Thats what i’ve been saying as well. The strand subjugator is more bulky thicker arms and shoulders with more squared pot like head and more pot like designs, the stasis ones are slimmer and more curvy with a smaller face that turns into a victorian hair like frill

OK, so like I know this is kind of unrelated, but I just had the sudden realization after doing some research on kinetic tremors… There are no weapons from the Veist foundry that are kinetic archetype?! And yes, although the dread are really freaking cool and I’m really excited to start blasting them. Can I maybe do so with a kinetic Veist primary with kinetic tremors? I don’t know about everybody else, but I think that would be a really good idea. Lol 😂
