It would be cool if they finally did something with Failsafe and they shoved her into your armor, spartan style. Make her join the club of the sentient exotics. Maybe have her comment on stuff while you have the chestpiece equipped.

Titan exotic gonna break the game or hit like wet noodles, no in between.
How is it any different than the helm we already have that shoots the solar flame out and back and can ignite? It’s like the same exact exotic with a different projectile.

I would've made the warlock exotic similar to the titan one where you could hold your melee button, it would consume all your charges and then you'd shoot either one strong shot, a needler spray machine gun volley or maybe a strand kamehameha

Point onto something, hold your melee, and all your melee charges are consumed, triggering strand needles to rain from the sky in an area around the place you were aiming at. Enemies killed by this attack explode, damaging and causing nearby enemies to become suspended.

Bungie did so much cooking for the final shape, they didnt have enough ingredients these exotics.
I mean we really just don’t know till TFS releases. Warlock exotic could be great for prismatic, so could the Hunter one, and Titan one just makes barricade crazy with dengr’s lash and thruster for spamming. All of this depends a lot on how much damage and other things we won’t know till TFS

The Hand-Cannon is strand. One of the trailers showed a Strand Hand-Cannon in inventory, and One-Quiet Moment was active in the buff when the Hand-Cannon was out briefly, Crucible strand Hand-Cannon.
Three charges of the slowest recharging melee to get the same effect as a grenade. Coooooool 🙄
Also the same effect as a tangle if you use the wanderer aspect. Bungie being tone-deaf about what Warlocks need as usual.

Yeah but this will be even better. Make a full on melee build and use thread of fury and the right mods etc and this is going to be so busted if you combine it with weavers trance
@@hatchell18 no, the only way this is good is if they give you melee energy on suspend kills or in other ways otherwise necrotic grips is still better because any kill poisons and suspends everyone nearby and you get your grenade almost instantly
if you get melee energy then yeah ill be using this with wish keeper and other suspends to spam melees itl be insane
@@Mari1432a nope as long as this doesn’t actually take 3 charges everytime you want to use it then it won’t. If this can be used 3 times in a row and everytime you have a single charge, while also being able to be combined with weavers trance?? It’ll be way more busted than necrotic grips with thorn or osteo.
Sure those have poison that can kill and suspend shit, but it only works after consuming your grenade and you need kills. It also requires you to waste your exotic weapon slot on a specific weapon. If you want to use a different weapon or if you’re doing a gm etc and thorn/osteo aren’t weapons you should be using, then that entire build falls apart.
With this you can do all the same shit minus the poison, but now you also have another 3 long range melee attacks that can also create suspending explosions while unraveling at the same time still? And the explosions are wayyyy bigger too. It’s cracked.
On top of that it doesn’t NEED a specific exotic weapon to function. It works with any weapon. Also this opens the door for a lot of really powerful strand melee builds for warlock. With necrotic grips and thorn/weavers trance that’s mainly for grenade only builds.

@@Mari1432a Also, melee energy is so easy to get back for strand warlock so the exotic doesn’t even need melee regen. Just throw on the fragment thread of fury. Anytime you do damage with a tangle you get a massive amount of melee energy back.
You will literally get an entire charge of melee energy for every tangle if you shoot one in a group of enemies or throw one at a group of enemies which is easy asf to do. You literally never run out of melee energy. Use the wanderer aspect with it too. Every tangle you destroy or use turns into threadlings. With all the unraveling you get you’ll be making a good amount of threadlings with that too, even though it’s not a threading build.
This means a shit ton of easy tangles for melee energy nonstop. Melee regen on the exotic is 100 percent not needed. Just make an actual melee build with the proper mods and fragments etc. I get my melee back immediately already only 3-5 seconds after using it.
Warlocks getting the short stick again like always
they’ve had the best dps exotics for 2 years straight, still have the best as-clear exotics, have div support exotics. if anything, hunters got shafted

Warlocks don't synergize well with melee builds.
The hunter one is bombardiers but only arc.
The titan one looks cool but likely won't have the damage to be effective.
It also probably won't synergize with anything because titans don't have a gameplay loop revolving around class abilities

I don't think Mataiodoxia requires all three arcane needles to suspend, it just seems to be the delayed suspend blast from the wanderer on each needle, maybe more hits causes the suspend to be larger
A tale as old as time: a niche but unique hunter exotic, a cool, unique and likely powerful titan exotic and a boring warlock exotic that will be utterly useless until it gets a rework 3 years later
Will say, I think the warlock exotic is more for prismatic rather than standard strand, as prismatic warlock can't suspend by itself. However, why would you bother giving up an exotic slot to suspend on prismatic when you have multiple ways of freezing on prislock?
You assume Bungie will still be balancing and reworking items in Destiny 2 in three years? All the signs point to them putting D2 out to pasture after Final Shape and whatever the episodes are. We can only hope they'll pull all the old D2 stuff they deleted out of the vault and put it back in before they abandon the game, so we at least have all the content to play in.

That's not always the case. Titans usually have the worse pve exotics. Warlocks are known to have the most fun builds with good exotics to go with them.
No worries, tale as old as time, titan exotic will be nerfed shortly after release, upon release, or before release, and soon rendered useless for 5 mo until they give it a small bump in power in pve.

In the second half of the Hunter exotic clip, the Better Devils was shooting at 180 rpm, whether that means cascade point or desperado or maybe even a frame change, I'm really hoping its not just a editing effect.
If im not mistaken, that hand cannon was shown to have strand AND stasis in two different instances in the clip. I imagine the rockets from the titan exotic would probably be on par with bombardiers or something. Would be cool if it added a status effect of whatever your super is.

I think bungie is really dropping the ball by not letting the spirit class item exotics be transmogable. Really gonna fuck with the fashion side of the destiny
They'll sell ornaments in the shop for them, sooner or later. And it'll be at least $10 USD per ornament (since that's the only silver bundle that gives enough silver to buy exotic ornaments)

Warlock suspend= exotic + land 3 melees
Hunter suspend= jump and back flip
Warlock suspend = eat grenade and shoot poison weapon. Everything suspended.

Titan- 8/10
Hunter- 8/10
Warlock- 5/10
My thoughts after seeing it for a bit:
Titan- looks cool but i got a bad feeling it is going to be niche or ass. I don't think it will synergies with any subclass and be more damage like bombadiers when it first came out
Hunter- i think overall it will best of 3 in time. It synergies with arc. It is tied to melee based abilities like tempest which are really easy to get back. And it looks like it does good bit of damage. Again think bombadiers but 3+ explosions. Also it buffs underused hunter aspects like tempest and new ones like ascension therefore giving a new playstyle.
Warlock- i feel like it will have more that isnt shown. Some kind of melee refund on suspends or killing an enemy with the melee does the suspensing burst. But we will to wait and see. If it doesn't have extra things, it will be easily vaulted for almost all player including myself.
The hunter bombs are gonna have to deal a metric ass-load of damage if it wants us to switch off the tried and true aspect combination and switch to the useless aspects

I’m just saying that those two aspects are objectively worse than the 2 everybody uses for a reason. There are more ways to play Arc hunter that are not centered around Melee, but those still use the same 2 aspects because the 3rd one is just that bad

The warlock chest piece is such a miss idgaf what anyone says, Bungie is completely hit or miss with Warlock exotics and it’s not even funny.
Bungie says, "Here's a plethora of abilities that look fun but are little more than a lightshow. Now put on Well of Radiance, we've balanced the boss health around you so any other way takes ages longer and you'll be kicked for not running Well for your team."
Tbf it's the same exact way with titans. Atleast with warlocks you can get way cooler builds with most of yours.

I see the warlock gets the lamest exotic. Hunter and titan both get something completely new that's never been seen before in destiny yet all the warlock gets is another way to suspend enemies when we can already do that with tangles and suspend grenades. Plus since it's tied to the melee, and especially if you need all 3 charges, you're rarely going to get to use it.
it would make sense for the hazardous propulsion to scale damage based on the base cooldown of your equipped class ability, but I still think it'll be incredibly fun (if not busted) paired with thruster and drengr's on prismatic titan. I love abilities and exotics that make class abilities do damage, whether it's khepri's horn and drengr's lash, bombardiers and threaded specter, or vesper of radius with frostpulse. even if it's not too powerful it'll be incredibly fun.

Warlocks will be irrelevant and consigned to the vault for months until Bungie tries to fix it. They only truly fix it 2 years later with a rework.

Especially with the new arc hunter super plus the hand cannon has a similar weapon shader design from a couple of the other new weapons we’ve seen so far
That Warlock one seems terrible.
How about
- Arcane Needle Severs targets on hit and Spawns a Threadling on an enemy defeat
- Arcane Needle causes a Suspending detonation when used upon an Enemy inflicted with a Strand De-Buff
- Killing Strand De-Buffed Enemies grants you Melee Energy
- SO then it is TWO Needles Max and if you already Sever an Enemy with Slice, Unravel them with Final Warning for example or another Arcane Needle or with an allies ability etc

And bro are you dumb or just ignorant? The warlock melee ALREADY unravels anything it hits. You know what happens to unraveled enemies when they die? They make tangles. What do tangles do when they explode with the wanderer aspect? They turn into more tangles.
Thread of fury gives you your entire melee back in seconds with just 1-2 tangles. You will be able to have almost unlimited uptime on this and spam the ever living shit out of the melees. Combine it with weavers trance too and yeahhhh it’s going to be broken asf.

I mean it's been pretty obvious for a while now. In D1 they got HoS, which was just gold gun but better, in D2 they've become the fastest and most agile class, arc titan ran PvP for way too long, to be immediately supplanted by void titan, and banner of war is a mobile well of radiance
I swear everyone says this bullcrap about everyclass. No class is loved the most. Are you not remembering how hard titans got nerfed and how titans have arguably the worst pve exotics? Every class has ups and downs and if I'm being honest i think the hunters got the best exotic here cause it'll actually synergize with arc.

for titan chest I could see bungie doing a secret synergy with gally much like warlocks thorn or striga or necro/grips, or hunters dris/wraps or ticuu/gunpowder. come to think of it titan doesn't have many if at all secret synergy. maybe helm of saint and edge of action but that doesnt seem as powerful.

Thruster with drengrs lash and this exotic sounds like a great time to me. Plus with how easy it is to get your class ability back, even better. Now add strand melee for triple consecration and its just delicious

They need to have the titan exotic work like the hunters bombardiers re-work where the rockets Suspend (strand), Blind (Arc), Scorch (Solar), Suppress (Void), Freeze (Stasis) depending on the subclass you have equipped. Thoughts?
titan exotic could changes from dodge on arc class and small barricades on everything else, i imagine void barricade with this would be... fun in pvp. But drengrs paired with this? Could be good, looks like it doesn't do much damage, however think of it as a bonus for increased reload on a rally barricade. Pretty good then.

The rockets from the Titan exotic look very similar to Quicksilver Storm, so it'll probably have the same damage profile and tracking, but 6x.

Warlocks sleeping under the stairs as usual while Hunters and Titans celebrate their second birthday. Warlocks can suspend burst on kill anyway. This exotic has "You can throw a tangle! Isn't that great!?" vibes.

Ascension/tempest strike are terrible so any exotic that synergizes with those are by extension also terribls
It’s terrible. 1) not worth 3 melee charges and 2) it’s lazy by bungie, it’s giving something we already have which us suspend.
Hunters and titans get something epic that plays into their aspects. Like wtf bungie. I would’ve rather just gotten nothing at that point. There’s multiple ways to suspend already. On top of that yall nerfed suspend too!! That warlock armor is shite.
Maybe for the Warlock it works with the last melee. So maybe if you only have one ready, thats all it needs
Fir the Hunter i think it means specifically Aspects. So the slide melee and Helecoptor which are moves from Aspects. So its not super spamable perse
And for the Titan, i wonder if the rockets are elemental and match the element of your class ability like the Hunter bomb pants.
With the Titan exotic we become a mini cabal colossus when running grand overture or heir apparent

After slowing it down it doesn't really look like it. It's more orange than red. Additionally, it doesn't fire so we don't know what element it has. A lot of the shape doesn't line up either.@@jrock6426

Nah people would still use other exotics. They said that the ability twilight gary provides fits more of the warlock identity which is why we are here now.

What are you talking about about? Basically new aspects? You do realize that the point of an exotic is to not be over the top and overshadow the subclass they can be built around, what do you want an exotic to do, give us the 3rd dark subclass?

The hunter's exotic will most likely be the best. The titan one looks fun but will most likely be weak and the warlock one looks straight bad
Does this hunter armor ties with chain reaction perk on arc wepons? Or with the fragment which cause arc special weapon final blows while amplified cause blinding explosions?
Titans also have an upcoming exotic related to the Unbreakable aspect. I reckon we get an exoic pertaining to each of the new light subclass aspects for each class.
I wonder if actual final blows with the warlock melee create a suspending burst too or if there's additional melee regen on suspending targets, it would be kind of weird to make you wait until you have all 3 charges for the exotic to work.
With how fast we get supers, thats basically having to wait the same amount of time as you do to cast a super

The titan exotic plus lash would be a good way to suspend and get a bit of extra damage in for enemies that can be effected

I bet the way the exotic perk works for warlock is an enemy kills causes a suspend burst while higher enemy tiers cause a bigger burst. It looks like its literally felwinters but for strand and suspend.
The warlock exotic should work on prismatic, but either way I agree that the cost is too high for the benefit. Even with Monte Carlo, the detonation would have to do a lot of damage (which it didn’t seem to do), it’d have to take less melees, or maybe they made this with the intent to make it part of the class exotic eventually and could be paired with necrotic. Based on the trailer, it’s DRAMATICALLY weaker than the other two.
pvp was chalked when prismatic was announced. so, adding a tracking rocket from titan class ability seems fair in that environment

For the warlock exotic, they only showed it when targeting Champs, so maybe the amount needed is scales based on enemy type. 1 for minor, 2 for major kinda thing?

Additionally if ur wondering, strand frag makes suspension kills regen ur abilty, so ez dengr lash compatibility.
U can also get the effect from scorching targets so solar strand titan might go hard, tho honestly im looking to that strand arc synergies with knockout and strand melee

I wouldn't be surprised if the suspend triggers on either 3 rapid powered melees *or* a powered melee kill. With the radius of the blast depending on the trigger (Large radius for rapid melee hits, small radius for kills). The radius we saw in the trailer was nuts.
If you can use these exotics spirits in the exotic class items, HOIL is gonna be great paired with the titans exotic.
Burst Hand cannon was stasis it looks like, also someone on Reddit was saying it's exotic but we will see. Id really love to get a stasis exotic hand cannon two of my favorite things in one hell yeah.
If the hunter exotic procs off the new super, you're basically going to warp and explode things. Might be a decent DPS option
backpack rockets only stunned. Basically a possible tool to use for that like some melees today. damage will be minimal I bet as it didn't do anything to the thing it hit (don't know the creature names yet).

Idk if anyone saw this but for those of us who remember failsafe we turned her into an exotic , if you look at the titan chest piece the ai core is smaller but is on it.
I think the Warlock could have a place if it has some form of melee energy regen built in. Either based on suspended final blows or number of enemies suspended by the exotic trait. Maybe give you up to one or two charges back, or if you get a fucktillion suspensions refunds you the whole three.
It looked like the handcannon switches elements it has strand in the first clip against the ogre and then strand in the next clip
Bet that Titan Exotic has some secondary benefit like maxing out handling on Rocket Launchers
I think the warlock armor isn't necessarily requiring 3 hits but instead makes the needles stick and cause a delayed explosion, hence the "detonation" part
