All new Dread faction reveal trailers for the Final Shape expansion in Destiny 2. 0:00 - Harbinger & Weaver 0:16 - Husk 0:30 - Grim 0:43 - Omen & Attendant
I am wondering WHO the Champions will be. Like an overload harbinger and an barrier omen. Or an unstopable husk. Or even worse an overload or unstopable tormenter. I fear the posebility of it.........
I love how we can tell the Dread all have different thoughts on us based on their general demeanors and actions. The Tormentors, Weavers, and Attendants all absolutely hate our guts, which makes sense, as the Weavers and Attendants are canonically Psions that have been reshaped by the Witness, and these Psions are definitively part of either Yirix’s traitorous forces or lone defectors from Caiatl’s forces that the Witness has welcomed. The Tormentors are also clearly based around Nezarec in some shape (pun intended) who, as we know, thrives off of the pain inflicted on others. The Husk seem more impressionable, as they may be Hive that have also been reshaped by the Witness, based off of the Geist (worm) inside them. They don’t hold back and just get the job done. The Grim (Gunbats) are just straight-up monstrous, the most wild of the bunch. Despite being probably the weakest of them all, they just seem like they would be the most chaotic if they had to do anything, based off of their screeching and generally animalistic behavior. Now, the Subjugators, the Harbinger and Omen… I LOVE how these guys act. Clearly shaped (again, pun intended) around Rhulk, these guys not only LOOK the most fancy, almost as if they’re wearing cravats, but they act like they actually have a shred of honor and respect towards us. The way they twirl their glaives and even BOW definitely reminds me of Thanos in Infinity War: “You have my respect, Stark… I hope they remember you.” All around, the Dread have EASILY become my favorite faction, overtaking the Vex, just simply because of how NEW they are, and not just revamped old factions (not that those were bad, but being totally new will always be more intriguing than just having a different subset of the same alien species). Amazing job, Bungie! May The Final Shape be your best expansion yet!

That’s because they’re only demonstrating what these enemies can do😑 so that WE can expect it when the DLC drops
