The only reason him (and Kawhi) even went to The Clippers was to be closer to home cause it definitely wasn't to win a championship...the best ability is availability (which neither of them have)...did I mention get paid?

As an nba fan since 2010, one of my biggest guilty pleasures is wondering what if klay thompson had his own team. I dont think he woulda held up cuz of inuries but for 7-8 yrs i think he coulda been crazy as the #1
Think the ball handling would’ve held him back he just recently started being able to create his own shot consistently

@@dododump3144it's similar to draymond, klay had to adjust and sacrifice, solely working on what the team needed from him. Like you said with the opportunity klay was able to show off his shot creation with that crazy stretch mid way into the season which gave him some all star buzz.

Steph is in his prime still, and similar to Lebron, he will always make a team a contender if he’s healthy. It’s on the warriors front office to bring in some decent role players with size for when the playoffs come around either this year or next to maximize Steph’s window.

This is the year if Klay can return to form (offensively and defensively).
I’m not sure what they’re bench will look like this year, but if they will make another push, it’ll have to be the bench giving them chances to rest their legs. They’ve put A LOT of miles on them over the years.
the dubs' defense is cooked. they're all old and slow now and they have zero rim protection. their only chance is to score, score, and score some more. in that sense steph and klay might have career years offensively just cuz they have to.

I hope you guys do have another ring in you, Klay, but it’s doubtful. You’ve lost a couple of steps and are not that great a defender anymore, Green has become a huge liability off the court, and the franchise just sacrificed a big part of its future for an over-the-hill backup PG. The ceiling for this group is probably a first-round exit.
All of you're points are true. But saying that their "ceiling" is a first round exit is insane. Sure it's possible they'd lose first round but based on history that is not the most likely situation. They have not been bounced in the first round in a decade and there's teams in the West that make it to playoffs they can beat. I'd give them at least 2nd round ceiling with a chance to go further depending on match ups and luck.
That over the hill back up is the best back up PG in the league. Doesn't turn the ball over. Draymond is like Jokic but without the scoring and great Defense.
@@joeyaknow1103 Who are they beating? They barely beat the Kings. Nuggets and Suns are obviously better than them. Kings and Grizzlies would easily be favored in a rematch. The Wolves are also nightmare match ups due to their size and length.

Wym? Steph has shown no signs of slowing down. Klay will be better and more consistent as well. Green can focus on defense solely which is what we need him to do. Smh, people forget that GS starting lineup is the best in the NBA off the numbers!! Our bench was trash, and TOs KILLED us! With CP3 running that 2nd unit, while limiting the TOs Poole use to have, GS already got better and CP3 is a great passer who can score and be very efficient. CP3 will unlock Kuminga's game rt. GS also picking up a 6'10 Saric, who has the high IQ to fit GS system. Moody will be better as he showed great improvement from shooting and defending. He's 6'6 with a 7'2 wingspan dawg, so the defensive potential is there with the legnth he has. We know GP2 will be a pest on the ball. And so will Kuminga. GS might also sign Harry Giles, who is a 6'11 center. They're much better and got some duds to rhe others but it'll work out. I know it will.
Nuggets yes, Celtics no. If the Warriors end up beating the Nuggets then there’s no reason to think they can’t beat the Celtics again

As a Suns fan, you are overrating Saric just like you did with Bjelica and CP3 wouldn't be useful in closing lineups because now you have Curry and CP3 as switch bait against ISO scorers. Suns in 4

Kuminga and Moody will be better and make a jump cause they're due. Now Saric and CP3 are together? High IQ players. Another veteran center to give Loon a rest, then it's a complete roster. Poole was selfish, and he was taking dumb ass shots and not taking care of the ball. GS main problems were TOs, and an lack of an backup center. They took care of one of their issues and are looking into another wing or center with Giles and Snell.

Ppl said they had no chance when they one the first one and when KD left, NBA season is hectic and teams don’t look the same from the start of the season and at the end of it. I could easily see them winning if they have good seeding in the playoffs. It would be different if Steph was showing signs of a decline but he’s arguably had his best season last year.
