This was defiantly a hard working weekend. I had the hope of doing more videoing with my new Canon M50 but work took priority and the little time we had to enjoy was filled with cooking, cutting fire wood and general tasks around the camp. We were all too tired for much but I did manage to use the canon M50 for some awesome shots and this video.
The oak beams had to be worked mostly by hand with a few battery tools to aid me. All the mortise were done with a chisel and pegged with dowels and glue.
The main structure came out really solid and complimented the slate stone walls.
We managed to complete the main structure but will need to go back to do the pitch so that it can be finished with old reclaimed welsh slate.
I managed to get some assome photos with the Canon even having a go at some night sky shots. This transition from iPhone to a mirrorless DSLR for videography is most defiantly a challenge but one worth taking. I think the canon M50 is a awesome compact camera for vlogging. The compact size with the video quality makes it perfect for the outdoor.
