My sincere thanks to Wako-san for this very generous drawing, watching my youtube news yesterday indeed was a wonderful surprise! When you see your name popping up after such a random selection it makes even more fun because you go "ok, this will never gonna be me anyway.."! Thanks also for the congratulations everybody, the Farid will now make it's way around the globe, from Japan to Switzerland! Best SKH

@boblyism I know some saber grind knives have a very narrow and steep bevel on it. This Farid knife was that sort. You will need patience to raise the bevel height with sandpapers or water stones. Or a belt sander will help you. I have the one but it makes much heat and you need to cool down the blade dipping it into water very frequently. Regardless of frequent cooling the very edge always goes red very easily and breaks down. So the final grind must be done by hand anyway. Thanks.

@aquariums411 Bark River white compound makes edges really razor sharp very easily. It can be used on any kind of edges. It's an awesome stuff and outperforms any fine water stones or such. Thanks.

@practicalskills thanks for giving away the winner. I did enjoy the suspense that Waco provides in the way he does his give aways. I hope I'm never sitting in front of you during a movie you've seen before.

@practicalskills I read comments while watching videos. No big deal, It just took the fun of the "roll of the dice" away.

@loves2hunt1995 No. I don't like their Kraton rubber handle very much. And I don't like their VG1 steel very much. Thanks.
