I have been listening to podcasts for a while most Christian women are speaking up on how they were abused financially whilst in marriages. It was quite surprising like how are they all telling an almost similar story. But listening to this l realise that its the teachings that encourages men to be such in relationships. Am a Christian myself but the way church had made it comfortable for men to be incapable human beings. Imagine a man who is comfortable sitting at home daily but wants to make a decision on how to allocate the wifes money monthend and wants their decisions to be the final say with the wife's money
No wonder most christian marriages are failing. Men who do not even know Christ are becoming better and more responsible partners
Hope one day men in church will be shamed and discouraged from this behaviour

Exactly. Some Pastors are just apologists for men who refuse to go beyond themselves to filful their role as husband's and father's. They want to be comfortable. Hayi khona.

You know I came here and subscribed, honestly excited about hearing a brother's viewpoint, opinion on matters that affect society. I am extremely uncomfortable with your interpretation of what God says about a man being a provider. Maybe you should insert the word ALLEGEDLY so we can know that there is room to differ. I don't want to unsubscribe because I think there's potential here, but I think there's a manly bias, if thats what your channel is about, then that's fine, but if your channel is about honest fair and true education, then you have failed me in this one. Shalom!
