I know this is a husband podcast but as a Christian lady can i just jump in on the point of coping mechanisms created by the world and take it to church one of coping or protecting mechanism for us ladies being: close up, zphathe kahle etc when we get to marriage and we must now open up it’s not easy coz we been trained our whole lives to close /cover up & we don’t find it easy to be free and explore sexually or even initiate the deed with our husbands because kunale mindset that was instilled in us & indoda iba frustrated by this!
Indoda iba frustrated and starts blaming you for not trusting them or not having enough faith. I never knew this was a built in coping mechanism. Thank you for the insight!

If you are going to have faith based marriage conversations please also include men from other faiths...otherwise this becomes an extension of church services limiting your reach (not everyone is christian). Not all men who do marriage right are christian. consider including non believers as well who are doing marriage right (however you define that)... South africa is so diverse...
