5th got them Europa League qualification, the same United have all but qualified for with either FA Cup win or extra league placement from City winning
individual table positions are not important unless you are 1st, as multiple teams qualify for europe (2-4 CL, 5-7 EUROPA, 8 CON)

I’m a long term United fan and I have to agree with Stevie. Against Coventry, Sheffield United and Burnley it’s hard to tell the difference between United and the aforementioned teams. They are simply woeful.
