Thump GO 8" Portable Battery-Powered Loudspeaker
Mackie Thump GO is an 8 portable battery-powered Bluetooth loudspeaker that delivers clear, punchy sound for a variety of performances and live events. The Mackie Thump GO 8-inch Portable Battery-powered Loudspeaker delivers the full, well-balanced projection of a Mackie loudspeaker in a lighter-weight package for easier on-the-go use. An 8-inch custom high-output woofer pairs with a 1-inch compression driver to provide powerful audio with incredible dynamic range, ensuring a full bass sound with hard-cutting treble. The Thump GO is powered by a removable lithium-ion battery with up to 12 hours of life; a tri-color battery life indicator ensures you can reliably keep the tunes playing all day long. You can stream music from any device with its Bluetooth connectivity, link to another Thump GO for maximum playback, and control everything via the Thump GO Connect app. Here at Sweetwater, we love the smart capabilities of the Thump GO's 2-channel digital mixer with XLR outputs, including "Music Ducking mode" to automatically lower channel two when channel one receives the signal. With four application-specific speaker modes and indoor/outdoor voicing modes, as well as a built-in pole mount, you can also take your Thump GO set up outside. Rest it on the ground with ease at its 45-degree monitor angle, knowing that its durable molded enclosure and rugged powder-coated steel grille will keep it protected. Whether you're looking to stream music or set up a PA, the Thump GO is your lightweight, portable loudspeaker solution for any larger indoor or outdoor space.

Rockville Sells affordable speaker bags for these (I have 2). I just get a piece of soft egg crate foam to line the bottom of the bag to give the grill more impact resistance. I agree battery life is incredible. I used one for a 5 hour wedding at 75% gain to fill a balcony area and it held up the whole night along with my XVIVE U3's to make it even more awesome.

Great speaker indeed I used it last week for my cousin's 50th birthday Bluetooth my dj mixes pumping all night and still has battery life. Mackie get these bags already. Pioneer Rev 1 and this Mackie speaker best buys for me this year. Next is the adj light controller.

The Rev 1 has rca outputs. So I use a rca to xlr cable 10 ft. You need a wireless mic transmitter such as x vive, sennheiser, or alto. I plug transmitter into rca xlr end and then receiver behind Mackie go. Keep in mind wireless transmitter have different battery lives. Also try to keep speaker in same room. I would not recommend for a serious event like a wedding but family party backyard party etc etc.

I pre-ordered mine last October and was stoked when I got it. I tested it and it was banging. I hadn’t had a ceremony to try it out on so it sat on my desk until last month when I was like “let me do some practice mixes”. For some reason, it bugged out. The sound was extremely faint and would randomly return to full volume, no matter what input I had. I thought it was my cable initially so I switched it, tried a different channel, tried Bluetooth and nothing. Luckily I got it from Sweetwater so I messaged them and they took care of me. Sent me a replacement and I got a new one. Again, tested it. Sounds good so far. I think I’ll use it for practice once a week just to make sure cause I finally do have some ceremonies coming up and I can’t have it fail on me out there. Other than that, I love it

2 questions: Why do you consider it "easier" to connect the 2 speakers with a cord than to do it wireless with Bluetooth? It seems that it would he easier to avoid carrying and running an extra cable than to just turn on Bluetooth...? It is for me anyway, at least with other devices I use.
Also, speaking of other devices, i currently have 2 Onn Party speakers. Before purchasing the 2nd one, Onn CS told me that connecting them via Bluetooth would transfer not only music but also my mic input sound to the other speaker. Well, they lied. It doesn't transfer. I only get music.
Does that work with 2 Thump Gos? In other words, if you connect a mic to one speaker and have them connected thru Bluetooth, can you hear your mic in the other speaker just like the music?

@@tyronenelson9124 I mean that's an option. Portability is huge, though. By the way, there are portable options that offer more inputs. For example the JBL Eon One Compact Pro. Don't think it sounds as good as this one, though. Give and take, just like everything in life/tech!
