    While many speaker manufacturers have chosen to shrink their speakers when they add batteries to them, Mackie has instead decide to add an impressive 10-hour rechargable battery to its very popular entry-level Thrash series speaker. This full-size PA speaker has an impressive amount of sound output for its price and weight, with handy built-in features like multiple carry handles, dual monitor wedge options, Bluetooth streaming and wireless stereo pairing. In this video, we'll chat about the best specifications and see some realworld footage of the speaker in action.

    Thank you. Can you do a comparison between that Thrash 212 Go vs the Thump Go?

    • @Chris-yy7qc
      @Chris-yy7qc Před 9 měsíci

      The Thump Go is better, because you can EQ it.
      But tbh I prefer the Mackie Freeplay Live over both. I returned both the Thump Go and Thrash 212 and kept my Freeplay Live...

      for the love of God, pass the bluetooth audio through the XLR passthrough! My alto 2500 watt subwoofers would pair nice with these!

    Hey Faze, You reviewed the American Audio APX GO 12 BT. How would you say the sound quality on the Trash 212 Go compared to the Sound on the APX 12 GO BT? Which speaker will get louder before clipping?

      Hey! I would definitely say the Thrash212GO takes the cake for audio clarity and volume by a decent amount.

      Appreciate it! Great questions - apart from 10 hour life I didn’t know the rest when I filmed (the speaker hadn’t been officially announced yet). Hopefully we can find those specs!

    I'm not a real DJ but I'm responsible for the bluetooth music at every family gathering including birthday parties, backyard BBQ, pool parties, beach parties, camping, etc. I would say we use the speaker 80% outdoors and 20% indoors. We are looking for something with heavy bass at close range. Would you recommend the Thump Go or Thrash Go? or should we wait for the SRT Go?

      Based on woofer size, this would certainly have a lower frequency response. I would look into the maui 5 go as well.

    How does it compare to the thump Go?

    • @djerniet350
      @djerniet350 Před 10 měsíci +1

      thump Go is an 8" speaker, the thrash is a 12" speaker. Both have Battery, the thrash will be more loud, but it will also be more heavy.
