'Give a Little Love' is from the 'Never Stop Fighting' LP and was recorded at King Tubby's, mixed at Channel One Studios and released in 1982 on the Greensleeves label.
Track two, 'Sweet Sweet Matilda' by the highly underrated Clint Eastwood and General Saint is from their 1981 'Two Bad D.J." LP which was recorded at King Tubby's and mixed at Channel One. Produced by Henry 'Junjo' Lawes and Chris Cracknell and released on Greensleeves.
The dub version 'Dangerous Match Seven' was recorded at Channel One and mixed at King Tubby's by Scientist. The track features on the 'Scientist Wins the World Cup' LP which was released in 1982 on Greensleeves.
These tracks have been Intricately remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time, creating unique versions of 40 year old rub-a-dub classics.
A tribute to Channel One Studios, Roots Radics, Scientist, King Tubby and Henry 'Junjo' Lawes.
