Sammy Dread - Rainy Days - A remixed Rub-A-Dub Version Excursion

The lovely voice of Sammy Dread backed by Roots Radics, produced by Linval Thompson and mixed by Scientist.
'Rainy Days' is from a 12" single released on Linval Thompson's Strong Like Samson label.
The cracking dub version 'Beam Down' was recorded at Channel One, mixed at King Tubby's by Scientist and comes from the 'Scientist Meets The Space Invaders' LP, originally released in 1981 on Greensleeves.
These tracks have been Intricately remixed by Toby Ranks with additional vocal snippets, drum licks, guitars and effects in the style of the time, creating unique versions of 40 year old rub-a-dub classics.
A tribute to Channel One Studios, Roots Radics, Scientist, King Tubby and Linval Thompson.
