      Fallout 76 Is kinda like this especially with the beta bc it came a week before release and you could only play like 2-3am I remember 12 or 11am was earliest. Bs bc they said preorder gets beta instantly, they said that like months before “beta” came out, campaign was shit too but it WAS a multiplayer,also cosmetics became a thing, and unlike fallout 4 it didn’t require lil money and a sign up

This fine product we developed using all of our creativity was meant to show society the ludo-narrative dissonance of the current gaming community. We offered the public exactly what was promised and the publisher knew what our content was.       i would probably have played F76 and enjoyed for a bit wthout the forced multiplayer nonsense including forced balance, the Bethesda Launcher and with gameplay/server options or mod support. Which ususally fixes, improves and extends their games and allows shifting of game balance to ones fancy.
      It should have been at least comparable with all the Rust clones. But they all allow adjusting of xp and grind.
      However, it's hardly "the devil" and even in microtransactions Bethesda is more clumsy and bad at PR, but harmless in comparison. Whoever played NBA 2k19 knows what "evil" really means.

    1 Get a game studio/publisher to pay you tens of millions to produce a film based on a popular video game,
    2 spend 1/10th the budget producing said film.
    3. Defeat them in litigation/settle for much less.
    4. Profit.

    I was actually looking for Software Inc. Game guide but I found exploits instead... This is so realistically marvelous, I remember a gamedev company who run a Kickstarter for their game but it ends up a scam instead... Years passed but no game develop but they got a hefty of money... Brilliant!

    This is actually somewhat real. There's all kinds of patent-seizing law firms that can shove their way into an industry by buying patents and then suing anyone who "infringes" on their patents.
