@@l3ila219 They do have a use, when Karlach takes one her attacks gain 1-4 fire damage when she rages and/or her hit points fall below a certain point, or something like that (and always using rage with her as a Barbarian & stacking it with other fire damage stuff it was could be pretty helpful, plus it does look kinda cool, haha). But I've heard other people say they don't have any use so maybe this was patched/updated later or something to give them more of a use? I was a little late to the party playing this so I'm not sure lol. But yeah definitely something not vitaly important or anything. But wow yeah that stinks that they took that out of being able to use them with Raphael! I didn't realize or find out how much cut content they had in the game until towards the end of my first playthrough.
A funny thing. Karlach says the souls inside of soul coins are doomed, but if you've played descent into Avernus, you know you can free the souls inside of soul coins.

I agree that the shorts UI is annoying af (kinda like TikTok) but if you click the comments button it makes it smaller and removes the UI so you can sort of see the options. Also, you _can_ rewind, at least on mobile, if you drag at the bottom. The tap to go back 10 seconds doesn't work though

Off the top of my head I know there's one lady about to be assassinated by a bugbear in the Grove that will give you one. You'll fine another on the floor of the balcony of the toll house where you fight the 'paladin of Tyr' and I think the other two are in the church near where you first land. One is in the tomb Withers crawls out of and the other is in another tomb in the same building. I know there's 3 more you can get in act 3 by talking to a bugbear shop keeper where the cultists all hang out. Idk if there's any in act 3
There was this D&D game I played in, Soul Coins were Hella good currencies, but all others were garb (Electrum was fine, but the rest was gastly) and so I had a chainsaw that (like that red/pink haired dude off of Bleach's Sword) reached out about 10~20 feet from me and deal Grappling + Slashing Damage... It was a Demon/Tiamat game... I played as Doom Slayer... We had guns... We kept killing the DM's barely disguised Warhammer robot fetish over and over again... It was funny af... And we also met and smited Tiamat in the gooche... The bard did not survive... The DM didn't allow me to upgrade my chainsaw to be rocket propelled... Or duplicate... Or explode... Or be like the Fortnite Ram Rocket, about 2 years before that came out... Or allow teleportation... But it did crit better... Which was nice (: EDIT: forgot to say, I also had an awesome demon-truck... Was very skilled to drive such a thing, but both that AND the chainsaw ran on Soul Coins... The party was not as happy to kill demons as i was to kill demons as I was...

I never give her any soul coins. They’re trapped souls. Using them does technically free them, but it also stops any chance of them being revived.
You can't save them in BG3 anyway right so shit. I don't use em cause her abilities are better anyway, Reckless Attack, Rage etc

Fun Fact. If you change her class to Monk, and spec her unarmed, the soul coins will buff her melee attacks pretty nicely.
