Do Vegetarians Get Enough Protein?

  • As a huge animal lover, I began to find it difficult to eat meat without feeling guilty, not to mention the environmental effects. I decided to go (imperfectly) vegetarian more than 5 years ago, and it's been a decision that has been great for my body and lifestyle. However, lately I've been curious as to how much protein I am actually getting in a day. SO...follow me along three typical days of what I might eat in a day to calculate how much protein I am getting.

    I love this video--I'm a vegetarian and appreciate the tips. I hate tofu, but you can make a white sauce out of it and add cheese for a higher-protein mac and cheese. Trader Joe's has vegan chorizo, which tastes great with anything you want to combine it with. Ensure (I know, it sounds geriatric) has a 30-mg protein drink with pre and pro biotics. Blend it with pb powder or fiber or fruit.

      I never thought about turning tofu isn't a sauce 😮 I'm going to try that!

      Cool. Im learning about foods and how our organs converts foods into alkaline, amino acids and proteins. We may be getting enough protein without consuming extra protein from specific foods we already consume through our own bodies conversion process plus mind programming. This is all new to me but exciting to learn.

      @@SarahMarjorie A guy with celestial embodiment started me with learning about it through his frugavore diet. After some research from that diet (and him teaching we don't need protein) I started learning about alkaline foods and how some foods get converted to supply what we need. I haven't learned enough to talk more about it. Then there's a guy Yahki awakened that talks about acid foods being a disease forming foods on our cells and cancer is the cure. So it got me asking questions. These 2 guys rewired my brain 😂
