Hello Rossana and Nelson, I would like to say that I have also mastered the puff with no dry circumference around the tortilla. It completely makes the difference on the flavor of the tortilla. The tips you gave are super useful for first time tortilla makers. Now onto the added bonus stuff. Rossana happy puff dance 5:07 6:25 puffy pillow Nelsons two-handed smack method 7:06 still resulting in delicious puffy tortilla. Thank you Nelson, well done even though you had Rossana cringing 😬 😂
He did! 😂 We need to work on that flip technique, glad you loved the video.
I have made tortillas but they don’t really puff, I will try your technique and hopefully get them to puff!!
Practice makes perfect.
Te salen bonitas las tortillas Rosy

This is a job for Villa Cocina more tortillas more stews, chilaquiles, enchiladas, tacos etc etc etc come on Nelson man you gotta eat bro!! ❤LOL love how you gettin technical on this video with the finer points of tortillas
Yes, indeed! we try to get a bit more detailed for all of those trying to perfect that puff.
I’ve made flour tortillas but not corn. I plan to try this recipe today. Quick question, can I use my Kitchen aid to do the kneading for me?
I haven't personally tried it but I don't see why it wouldn't work. Let me know how it turns out!
Flour tortillas please
I have a couple of videos on it, feel free to check them out. ☺️
Jajajaja ese Nelson 😂
Si, se la disfruta. 🤣
I wish we could get real corn flour like maseca here in Australia, it is available online, but it's soooo expensive, plus the freight costs more than the flour itself 😭😭😭
So sorry to hear that! 😢
I stay humble. Lol!
He is too much!😂
Not Everyone Can palm the Dough 😢 like your doing it ,Be nice if yiu had a tutorial Video on the subject / I was raise with women that palm.that Way ,and till this Day ! I havent Mastered it !
Thanks for the suggestion.
I am looking forward to making some tortillas that come out soft and do rise when cooking. I still have a lot to learn and at my age I believe it is time. My mother used to make the best flour tortillas. We did not use or eat corn tortillas. I grew up in Texas a family of 12 kids and my two parents. I have tried to make flour and corn tortillas but neither come out soft. I still have hopes at and by my next birthday I will be a pro. I am 81 years old. No one of us girls make them as my mother did. There are of us girls. I will one of these days make my mother proud. She no longer is with us but I know she will look down and see me.
