I just discovered your channel today and have spent all day looking at your videos. My husband is Mexican and I want to make him authentic Mexican meals as well as share the culture with our children who have never been to Mexico. I'm from the south where there is NO authentic Mexican food and his mother is not well enough to show me. Your videos are a God-send. Plus I like things SPICY! Even more so than my hubbie lol. Keep it up! I love how you tell about the culture while you cook. It's not only informative but fun to watch you cook! Thank you for being very detailed and including both spicy and mild versions. Let's keep this rich culture of food alive!
I recently found your channel. I am so glad I did! You have wonderful recipes and do a great job of sharing them. Explanations are so appreciated by those of us expanding our culinary horizons. I know the basic Mexican recipes, but you share the daily food of Mexico. Best wishes for all your future adventures, cooking and in general life!
Glad I could help! Enjoy!
Fantastic! Thank you!
Thank you. It look amazing ❤
Your recipes look so delicious. Will have to try all three.

I can tell all these salsas are as delicious they are gorgeous. That Vitamix sure does one heck of a job at making them smooth as silk!
I make your green salsa all the time and it’s good! Going to make the red one today for some tacos. Thanks!

De nada. Me alegra que le sea de ayuda.
Rosanna, thank you so much for these options. I love it. I'll be making two, not the extra spicy 🥵. Thank you so much for this post. Always a pleasure to watch you and Nelson. 🥰
Thank you! It’s a pleasure!
These salsas will be nice to make over the holidays!
Absolutely!
Excelentemente hecho me gusta mucho eso 🌸
Thank you so much!
Thank you for these wonderful recipes, I grew up around so much Mexican culture from all my friends that I was a little sad when I moved out of the city. You have brought back my childhood and I can’t stop getting compliments from family and friends when I whip something up real quick. ❤
Glad you like them! Enjoy with loved ones ☺️
❤❤❤ rica con unos taquitos gracias por tus recetas delicioso
Si, combinan muy bien.
A great way to de-seed things is with an apple corer. When I'm making jalapeno poppers I cut the stem side so there is still a little green wall. Then I use the serrated edge by cutting down at stem wall (keeping it intact) and then across. I'm looking forward to trying these salsa... the spicy one first!
Thank you so much and you know I have had different colors of sauces lots of times it's so tasty to have different sauces, and I want to make the orange and grilled smoked and green sauces!!! I love veggies and fruits and peppers and garlic!!!!
It looks amazing! I’m a Mexican American & love the natural taste of a real flavor I love the ingredients! Great job, looks so delicious thank you, yummy
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
I am going to try all 3 salsas today ❤

Si, tratala y que la disfrutes mucho!
Glad I found your channel . No ridiculous gimmicks like throwing food in our face 😊Or Beautifullllll
Hi Rosana 😃 I am so excited to try the calabasita salsa. As I mentioned on your other video, I made the Chile de árbol with peanuts salsa, everyone loved it. Loving your accent to by the way, where are you from??
Today I had to make double the recipe of the green salsa. It's so amazing in sandwich, as a dip, as salad dressing.
Wonderful! 😊
I have made that creamy green salsa a few times now in the past week. it is so addictive! Odd note, I discovered that this sauce pairs extremely well with fake crab. We made some seafood enchiladas with it. What a wonderful salsa, thank you and extremely happy I found your channel.
Glad you enjoyed our salsa ☺️
Hey, there. First time seeing your videos....oh, these salsas look delicious. Gonna try them!! Thanks!! Yes, I just subscribed. 😋
Welcome!! And enjoy the recipes!
These look GREAT thank you! With the spicy salsa especially it’s good to wash it down with some cervesa 🌶🔥🍻
I don't drink... so a limonade it is. 😊
You should be in Hollywood...
Hey I love your videos, I really loved your ham torta and was wondering if you had plans for something like a torta ahogada? 😄
Hopefully in future videos 😊 Glad you like the ham Torta. Feel free to check out my video on Pambazos.
All of these look good but I'm definitely making the hot, it looks really good, I like a darker color hot salsa!
The smokiness gives it great flavor
You're welcome!
Love the salsas - I make salsa all the time, but it's nice to see someone else's take for variations I may not have tried yet. FYI, when mentioning use of Kosher salt, it's best to say what brand you're using. Morton Kosher salt is nearly twice as salty tasting as Diamond brand. Technically, it has to do with the way they're made, the crystal density and shape. At least you're telling people 'to personal taste', but it may surprise some if they are using half or twice what you use. Thanks again - looking forward to your next yummy recipe!
Hello, the link to the salt I use is always listed in the description area as well as other products in the recipe. Always hoping it helps someone. ☺️
I love 💕 your salsa bowls beautiful colors shure will brighten up your day. Hope you don't mind sharing, where did you buy them?
Bought it in Jalisco, Mexico on my last trip. 😊
@@VillaCocina Thank you, have a bless day.
They All Look Yummy.
I take it , He is A Little But Afraid of Spice ☺️🙏
He calls it caution 😁
Wow they are great , fortunately we have all ingredients from all countries due to migration in the last hundred year my friend Victor has no trouble finding everything he needs , thanks so much .
It is amazing how we can access products from all over the world, I LOVED IT!
@@VillaCocina I have Italian and Chinese friends that like to have me prep in their kitchens , I'm actually a Scottish Irish spy taking mental notes hahahaha now I make a mean cheese and chilli haggis 🤗😁
Los tomatillos que usas, se ven muy buenos, a comparacion los de aqui en California. Que recetas tan sabrosas! (
Si la verdad que hay muy buen producto donde vivo. E visitado California y es muy lindo.
I sure do miss the farmers markets in New Mexico.
Farmers market are great!
Can you show how to make the delicious spicy carrots. Please and thank you!
👍
Of course, for those without a quality blender may not have the same experience when looking for that final smoothness of the contents. I not found a comparable blender to the VitaMix. They are simply superb and well worth their investment in any kitchen as they are built to last for decades.
As always...another homemade recipe that fills not one but a few uses.
You can still achieve similar results with other brands but it does take longer to accomplish.
@@VillaCocina There is no comparison when you include the time taken to blend with a Vitamix...Some folks are just fine with a $39 Oster but they don't know what they are missing in time saved and how the blender does its work.
Your husband is a very lucky man.
I've always believed "we both are". ☺️
❤🎉😊
I do meal prep only for myself and I love fresh salsas. What's the best way to store them? How long do they keep in the fridge? Do any of them freeze well?
From personal experience, I'd say about a week in the fridge but it never lasts that long before it gets gobbled up. In the freezer these should last quite a while if you've got a vacuum sealer.
These are always gone before I even get to freeze them, so I wouldn't be able to know if they thaw well. But in the fridge I'd say about 3 days.
Hmm...I make my green salsa very similar but I learned it with calabazita and adding only Serrano peppers and a little bit of crema Mexicana...
Sounds like a delicious salsa, there are just so many ways to make salsa, I LOVE IT.
6:24 Actually, the additional heat that is not already contained in the fresh pepper flesh itself is contained in the Placenta of the pepper, which is what the seeds adhere to inside. Some people call them the "ribs" of the pepper.
Ha! Interesting! I appreciate the info! Thank you!
Can the salsas be made and stored in freezer
Now, you put me in the mude to cook tacos.
Those salsas definitely put us all in taco mode 🌮 🙂
Sorry, I didn't answer right away, and I forgot how to make the salsa. I want to know how to make red salsa, not too hot.
🌶️
where can we get that comal?
Greetings. Love your mouth watering recipes. While I was blending jalapenos, the sauce went from extremely thick to watery thin. Why did it break? HELP!!
I just heard about molcajete mar y tierra could you possibly make a video explaining how to make it?... For dummies like me
Sounds awesome... I'll keep it in mind.
Can you suggest a molcajete and where I can get one? I know they come in different sizes and materials. Thank you. I subscribe to your channel. Food network should hire you.
I have it linked on our website. Feel free to check it out. Thank you ☺️
How long is the shelf life?
The emulsion sauces are poised for world domination. When we first had that green sauce, maybe early-00s, we couldn't believe the cook when they told us "it's just peppers and oil." Well okay then, keep your secrets! But now it's a staple at a lot of taquerias in Texas, with many variations.
So many salsas to choose from ☺️
So I made the green salsa and did it exactly how u said in the video but u can see the cilantro flakes in my salsa and yours doesn’t ? Did u edit that part and red did the salsa without cilantro?
You may have to blend for a longer period of time depending on the blender you use. I used a vitamix blender.
Only radiant onion?
Isn't there any way to print the instructions from your website without having to go to those extentions that don't help.
Who else loves to drench their mexican food in red or green sauce? I mean so wet you eat puddles of sauce on a burrito/taco.
Salsas are almost as important as salt to most of us 😄
Sadly, it’s impossible to find many of the ingredients you use where I live :(
I'll make them in your honor. 🫡
I wonder that you and your husband are still skinny ..
Your follower from Kuwait 😋😋
If you like spice.Try the Carolina Reaper pepper. Just kidding.
That sounds spicy! how is your heat tolerance?
@@VillaCocina I believe I could handle it. Not sure if you can handle, what is considered the world's hottest pepper.
Beta husband cant handle spicy lmao
Be careful with the green salsa, it is ADDICTIVE! I put that stuff on everything and can't stop eating it! Delicious! Thanks for sharing these awesome recipes. Keep up the great work!
