Bought a gen 5 last week. I've never had better grouping with a pistol.
Been carrying the G21 since gen3. Only time I have seen the 5 or 6 O'clock ejection was when some guys used cheap ammo at the range. G21 is designed to fire the +P self defense rounds and I have never had a similar issue, as I saw with yours. I saw another comment in here about, low powder charges...I would say that must have been what you were experiencing. When Glock designed these, they made the slide heavier than the 1911 variants I am sure you are familiar with. The polymer lower required it, since the 1911 is an all steel gun. One reason the recoil is managed so well in my opinion. Have you tried it with more standardized ammo like Federal ball ammo?
Yes I have used better ammunition unfortunately I still had this issue however I still enjoyed the firearm

I shot my new G21 Gen 5 at the range today. It ran like a champ as was accurate as I can get. I am very happy with my first Glock.

Thanks for the video brother. You've been experiencing a known issue to some Glocks called "Brass to Face". I had the same problem with a Glock 19 Gen 3 regardless of what ammo I shoot. I sold the gun since and bought a 19X instead. I still have two 19's that shoot just fine.

If you keep shooting light loads I suggest a lighter recoil spring, less than 17-18 pounds. Try between 14-16 pounds.

9 months in, have you seen the error of your ways?
My EDC is a G21 since 2004, gen 3, thousands of rounds! Once my front sight blew off, replaced it, never had an issue. Two changes I made: 2,5 lbs trigger & extended slide stop
No denying it's a great pistol, I just had that one issue even with different rounds however doesn't change my mind about the pistol just I wouldn't use it for an EDC
@docrosas. Nice. No concern having that light of a trigger pull for your EDC? I carry AIWB. Striker fires always make me nervous. hK P30sk for me

I love my Glock 21 probably my all time favorite Glock out of all the Glock s that own. And to ancer your question that's just how the rounds exits the ejected ion portal

My G21 never ejected shells back at me. In fact, I could almost collect them from the small area to the right they were so grouped. I use Brass casings only
This honestly may have been some of the problem using aluminum shells but we did have the same issue with brass but this never stopped me from enjoying it

I own a Glock21 gen 3, never had a problem with it, i just upgraded to indyglow sights.
Glock 20 in 10mm has more power and you can get 15+1 round magazines and depending on which ones you get some will hold 16+1 rounds so 3 extra rounds and depending on what ammo you use id really versatile in 10mm . Extra barrels in .357 Sig use the same magazines and you can get a Glock 21 slide and barrel that will fit on the Glock 20 . Then for a lot of practice the Advantage Arms .22Lr kit works well with the right .22Lr Ammo . Custom barrels are available too . 😊

My G21 spits brass directly back at me as well. Nothing more hilarious then when you’re zoned in at the range and all of a sudden CLONK 😂

Good video!! My EDC is the G21 G4. Absolutely love the fantastic recoil on this pistol. Plus you cannot beat the 13+1 .45 capacity!!! I subscribed!!
FYI check out the CZcams video on the G21 torture test!! They buried a G21 in the ground for 2 years dug it up & fired 500 rounds through it!! It’s an awesome video if you have not seen it!!

I have a Gen5 G21 that does this, empties come straight back and hit me in the forehead. I also have a Gen4 G21 that never does that, with the same ammo. Neither gun has been modified, they're both all stock.
Just wonder if some have a defective ejector in it 🤔

I was just watching this video and laughing. I have two Glock 30 pistols (the G30sf, and G30s) and they both tend to spit hot brass at me when I shoot them...I like to think of it as a bad guy shooting back at me and barely missing me in a gunfight! 😂😂😂
When a big hot .45 casing goes down the neck of your shirt but you can still stay on target, you are well trained! "God's caliber!" Lol 😅

@@AppalachianFirearms23 My 21 gen 3 kinda throws the shells at me too, usually over my right shoulder but sometimes they hit me on my hat.

I just bought Glock 21 gen 5 , but I do have one problem. It’s way too NEW !!!
We used different rounds to and still had the same problem however I think it's more of this firearm then anything really
