  • Today we are doing a walkthrough of the Summit-TX25's several quirks and features, Doug Demuro style.
    I list off a few things that I've come to like and dislike about this vehicle platform.

    Hopefully they hang around for those who took the leap. Thanks for the video

    How in the world are you losing so many pins?!😂 Good video; the Summit/Solis twins really intrigue me, especially with Summits sales model through box stores. I really want them to succeed. They've got a good foundation to start on, the Solis H24 is one of the best selling tractor models in the world.

      I’m rooting for them too. So far their customer support has been excellent!
      As for all the missing pins…it’s those damn briar vines! They are relentless on my property and will rip up your clothes and anything anything they can get a hold of, like the loop on the pins lol

    I think you may be a bit off on your cost for self leveling loaders by other brands. I have a John Deere 1025r. My loader cost me $5,000 and the additional charge for a self leveling was $500 more. It’s well worth it in my opinion.

      I’m sure you can get them for less, I’m just going off of the quote I was given by the closest John Deere dealer in my area. It was quoted for $6,833 as part of a package on a 4025R

      Your loader cost $5000 this tractor costs 19500 for everything my Solis with that loader only cost 16000.

    I checked these out and they had some positives but the very sketchy situation with after sale support such as repairs and parts steered me right over to Kubota.

      I definitely understand that. I’m happy to report that the customer service and getting parts shipped over the last few months has been remarkably easy. I will be posting a 6 month ownership review later this month

    I saw a video on fluid changes and seemed to be more of a pain than others, but most are anyway.

      Haven’t had to do one yet but I’ve seen the video and I think you are right, there’s a lot to cover.

    Looka like a good tractor. If you were looking into using it for mowing price a finish mower or a flail mower before a bellymower. The rear mowers are easier to take off then the belly and you dont gor to crawl under the tractor to attach the pto.

      @about12acres  Před 4 měsíci

      So far it’s been a good machine with exception of a few small problems!
      I couldn’t imagine trying to hook a belly mower to it though, I’d never want to take it off again haha.
      Flail mower attachment is probably in my future

    I chose the Solis over this to save $3500 all I gave up were the mirrors, headrest, and third function diverter on the loader

    • @about12acres
      @about12acres  Před 5 měsíci

      Were you able to get that Solis in the US?
      I really like that third function on the loader, I can live without the other stuff I guess

    If you were a tractor, what kind of tractor would you be?

    I would just cut 2 inches off the blade end of the screw driver

    I Closely looked at that Summit Tractor ,once upon a time just 2 months ago. I need a "smaller tractor" to help-out my 4 bigger ones. I realize there is "NO such thing as the perfect Tractor"; thus my "fleet" of diversity. This Tractor very-easily got "Disqualified" upon my observation of it's "BUILD". First-off: what l "liked"/ the Mitsubishi engine, the color,the dual side steps,console loader handle& the self leveling-loader loader. What l ""DIDN'T "" like: was it's "Plethora of ginger-bread", it's Looonngg Extened rear Axle shafts comming out of the transmission housing( seems like a "very-week point"), the "entry-level" measly tiny 2 speed ( range) transmission, the "rather goofy" front axle( it's piviot-point is weird & like no others) & danglinging front drive-shaft. I would give this Tractor a "Real-Price" of 13,000$,& NOT the 19,000$ price that they are selling for with the "Tractor-loader " combination. It sure seems these "rigs" are marketed to the "First time Twack-tor buyers" that have "ZERO " experience with the "Real Tractor World". Of course ANTHING is Better than a "shovel-wheelburo yard-cart",previous format. I could only be "convinced" to have one of these Summit-rigs if the price was "A WHOLE LOT LESS". Thank you Sir for the Excelent vidio and happy safe tractoring. Best wishes with all your endeavours.

      Thanks for checking out the video!
