This is so helpful! I still have a question though.
I’m a stay at home home school mom of 2 (and almost 3) kiddos. I run a pop up shop styled home decor vintage shop meaning, I’m not open but 2-3 times a year (the ultimate vision is opening shop at least once a month if not more and eventually making small shippable items available on a website.)
As soon as I post an item on my socials as far as advertising, someone wants to buy it! That’s great for sales, but not so great cause I’m trying to build up inventory for a full event.
Should I save those sneak peeks for closer to the actual event and just post styling tips and things like that between events? I don’t want to lose traction, but I also am a 1 man show trying to build up inventory for a beautiful event.

Yes, that sounds like the perfect balance! If selling your products between pop ups is preventing you from keeping enough stock for your event, then it makes sense to hold back sales until then. BUT it will be important for you to keep your audience engaged and keep teasing the next event - get them to RSVP and give them sneak peeks of what will be available there. You might even consider creating a VIP list from your biggest fans on socials, and give them early access at your event, if that's feasible for you! Keep up the good work! 👏
