Erik here! I agree Peter's backflip over Toomes' surprise wing attack is also similar to the Tobey Spider-Man move on Green Goblin. I just pointed out the MCU similarity to Tony and Loki since 1) it's the same universe and 2) the "toys vs tech" theme applies to both scenarios. With Tobey, it's just a sick backflip that makes Osborn accidentally take himself out.

The press conference Tony called at the end was *also* a reference to Iron Man 1!
Tony thought Peter would just want to follow in his footsteps, revealing his identity in his first film and becoming an avenger, but instead Homecoming taught Peter to be his own thing and protect people in a small scale (NY).
That scene is not only a reference to his unmasking in the Civil War comics, but the moment that cemented Spider-Man as someone other than just "Iron Man Jr".

I watched this movie for the first time in a theater and The opening marvel logo sequence with the animated spiderman show's theme song , gets me everytime till date. everyone in my audience went crazy when it played.

Kudos the everyone at marvel responsible for the visual efects and the efforts put in for even the smallest details , especially in this movie , the garbage leaking and the scratches on the wall because of Peter lifting it , like wow , it's amazing, not all studios do this kind of accuracy.

I would like to point something out that I never noticed, but in the start of the credits (19:34), miles' mask comes out from around peter's mask, this plus all the miles hints in this movie point toward him becoming a future character

But you have to admit that vulture is one of the best villains in the MCU. We can sympathise with him. He’s not evil just because he is. He has a good reason.

I don’t think the new shield he’s talking about is the one in endgame, I’m guessing it’s the one from Ironman and Ironman 2
i think it is because it lines up with the time line. Cap left the shield with tony and since neither cap or tony wanted to be in a quarrel, tony picked it up and worked to repair it and gave it to cap in endgame.

One reference you missed. In the first issue of the spider-man comics, Peter Parker fights the fantastic four for a spot on the team. He wins but when offered the spot he turns it down, realizing that if he can beat them alone he can go it alone. This is mirrored in home coming when Peter wants to be an avenger but then when offered the chance, he turns it down.
