I switched to dota for around 7 months now and it is way more enjoyable for me. Being useful and being able to play tanky carries is something that I needed. In league u just pick ranged adc and even if u win ur lane ur getting oneshot by almost everything, I've wasted time on playing this bullshit for 4 years...
migrated to DotA from LoL about 10 months ago. LoL got to plain for me and loved how DotA challenged me, I'm now sitting at 4.4k mmr which I feel proud compared to LoL when I reached Grandmasters. still, Both fun games and from time to time I play League to have some fun with old friends especially URF. :))
Little things Nemesis does as a new player instinctivly that i cant do as someone whos played dota for years. So cool to watch a pro learn the goat moba
This game changed a lot in 7 years, but i kinda love both Dota and League. Dota just feels more extreme in every way, braindead champs are really braindead, hard champs are really hard.
What I love in dota is although there are META heroes. Everyone still has a draft that can utilize most of the heroes. And that pro meta is very close with the pub meta.
Nemesis idk if you will read this but 1:30 "i wanna play p1 p2 only nothing else interests me" you see the beauty of this game and you won't see it this way until like 200 hours in. Playing supports and offlane can make you a better p1/p2 because it will give you better understandings of those roles, timings, what makes them strong. Which in turn makes you significantly better because now you know how to properly abuse them. You don't have to master p3/4/5 but playing some games to have a good understanding goes A LONG way.
I think if he's mained as pos 2, most important role to understand is pos 3 and 4, because you need to understand their timing and role when you want to make a play in a map. Although he isnt even in the part of "making plays with teammate" as mid
@manoi8 half of your job as p2 is either making sure your carry is farming or making sure theirs isn't. Making sure the map is in your favor in essence. So understanding how to set up the map, where their carry is hiding, supports warding. All useful info.
OD steals your mana pool Blademail is very easy to avoid, usually the only people that hate it are PA players Against Silencer you need items that provide Dispel when activated Manta Style, BKB, Satanic, Disperser, Eul Scepter, Greaves, Lotus Orb - all of these when activated apply a basic dispel (which removes the silence) Void Spirit is a weak laner and a slow farmer yeah, but he's really strong with the less gold it gets and really strong in the midgame and is a more proactive/fighting type of mid (he's very level dependent though). He's a universal hero so his attack damage increases equally from any of the 3 stats (Str Agi Int) Against Sand King BKB is very important, plus BKB to apply the basic dispel when you get silenced. However since you got manta you already have a dispel for Silencer (You might like to have two dispel items though, specially on a spell dependent hero like Void Spirit) Mage Slayer is really strong against Bristleback, his quills passive that spray when you attack him deal reduced damage if they have the mage slayer debuff applied (40% less)
How is blademail easy to avoid? it has been recently a perma buy on alsmot every offlaner or meele mid (even in pro play) and is now still good on many. Esspecialy some force you to attack, like axe or lc. Of course it is avoidable by not attacking or getting bkb. But saying it is easy avoidable and only hated by pa players makes it sound weaker than it is.
Its only recently this is the case man, we also suffered from smurfs 20x more than League does. And there are still smurfs, its just that they get banned eventually, yeah. Its rough out there for every new player in any game 😂😂
League have more rampant issues mainly because they have more playerbase. Dota 2 still has the same issues but Valve is working hard to minimalize the damage they do (but still won't really solved the smurfing issues because they have to play several game so the system could identify them) I remember my friend who is a divine got his alt banned LMAO, thats what he gets for smurfing in Archon
I mean a big part of this is also the fact that this is nemesis. If i went and played dota as a non lol pro and without a pro coach i would perform 10x worse than nemesis...
No offense to the coach guy but the vod of you just playing alone was a lot more enjoyable, its fun watching you discover things and experiencing things by yourself.
@@bangthebooce7308 No he literally says somewhere something like "even for dota standards blademail is just BROKEN" like holy your bad. its only a good/strong item on a couple heros. most you just stop hitting them and they get to walk away for free. The only thing that was truly OP since i played was like 2 years ago riki could be perma invulnerable with aghs+octarine so with damage items he was just impossible to play against actually tho.
@Phraxcis I'd never say broken, but strong when the heros strong with them are meta. Yes. How you guys think BM is bad but bloodthorn before recent nerfs wasn't idk. That was actually dumb
I ran some calculations in my head but an ordinary Sniper can have max attack range of 1600 units. Day vision is 1800 btw. Really think Nemesis should find someone else to coach him, Ranger is obviously not the best guy to teach Dota to him, especially a game like Dota. Since the first time Nemesis has played he complicates the most simple mechanics because of how bad he explains it.
