  • 600+hp 1996 Audi A4 B5 Avant 1.8T 20v ADR Quattro (Big Turbo) measuring 100-200 km/h acceleration with dragy (from 3rd gear) POV
    2,8-bar boost, 8800rpm rev limit, 22deg spark angle, ethanol fuel. Mapped by me.

    Amazing build! Is it possible to reach mbt on ethanol or detonations appears before mbt? I want to run E40 on my 1.8t but I dont have dyno to determine if timing isnt too high. Ty

    Can you get ethanol on gas stations in Estonia? Here in czechia they stopped selling e85 after around 2016, shit sucks 😆 insane build btw I’m in the process of building a sub 300whp 1.8t bora so this is insane motivation for my build ❤️

      We don't have e85 on gas stations here. I buy 100% ethanol from chemical plant, called APChemicals. Thanks!

    You like using VEMS?
    Been tossing around the idea of using MaxxECU, just in case I end up with an 07k later on
    Maestro sucks either way, and I can't use ethanol or methanol with maestro

      Can't comprare with Maxxecu, because I never had one, but so much I heard, that it's more easier and understandable to use.. Also has better software support with firmwares etc..
      Still VEMS satisfies all my needs and at the moment not planning to upgrade to something other, especially if it works and shows some good results..

    Mate i have a5 coupe 2.0tfsi with quattro..k04 turbo and forged engine..i boost 1.6 peak 1.34 continue..but i want more boost my afr goes 11.9-12 but when i boost 1.6 peak 1.5 continue my car get retards sometimes..do you know why ? Because of fuel quality ?

      Hi. K04 has small hot side, which restricts air flow at high rpms. Better get bigger turbo, if you want more boost. There is no point adding more boost than 1,2-1,3bar with k04 - it will produce more hot air and you will not gain any more power.

      @@A4B5Turbo ok thats what i think..can you tell me which turbo should i choose to upgrade k04-64 ? Efr 6758 or any any turbo to get 450hp ? Can you tell me which turbo should i choose ? But i want similar characterictics like k04 turbo..i want mid and high end boost..i was going to get g25-550 but it boosts high end rpm..i dont want that..i am looking turbo which has boost mid range to the end..do you think should i choose efr 6758 turbo ? Or go with gtx series ?

      Yes, but machined to more higher lift.

      @@A4B5Turbo Damn it, am looking into the ADR cams which would you adive? Stage 1 K04 big port AGU engine. I saw there were like 3 diff intake cams.

      @@FlightSimXtreem With "J" letter cams from ADR are most agressive ones. But they work with mechanical cam chain tensioner. With electrical you will get too hot exhaust temperatures. Also with k04 you will not notice differences, because of it's small hot side, which restricts the flow on higher RPM's.

      @@A4B5Turbo I have no VVT on it. And I've heard indeed that K04 wouldn't make much of a difference. But I will get them anyway just in case for the future, becaus the plans are there. Thanks! J it is. :)
