Until it blows up at 70k miles. I had an rx8 for only 3 months before it blew up, bought it at 77k miles, had no clue about rotary engines then. But ya when I was actually driving it and not waiting for it to cool down to start it, it was the most fun I've had in a car
@BigDoinks NoKizzy I entirely knew that. 185k on original engine is insane mileage for an rx8. I got a whole 5000km out of my $1400(cad) toy, and then it died at 9500rpm in third. Also you can't just replace the apex seals, you need to rebuild the whole engine. $1k+ just in gaskets and seals
@@bbbildhuu I don't think anyone trying to drift thinks oversteering twice on a single turn is a good thing. Maybe a little after the correction. This just looks sloppy af
@@aavalos7760 better than you can do. y’know drifters do that something when they want to maintain the drift on a straight but there’s a corner at the end they sometimes keep oversteer two or more times to make it to the next corner.

@@duhopie838 with no knowledge yes. But people say that with mixing oil into your fuel tank every few hundred miles or something (maybe more, sorry I don't know for sure) helps them last longer. I think that even if they are less reliable than others (with proper care), it's a matter of choice, because this car brings a lot of style and fun to the table. But seriously, people claim that these are quite good when cared for properly, so get info before buying

These are stock 19 inch Rims from RX-8 R3. From Wikipedia. "The R3 also comes with 19-inch BBS-forged aluminum-alloy wheels and high performance tires." I own a 2005 RX-8, not the facelift one! :)

As a previous rx8 owner that tailwhipping and ass end can get scary, super heavy. Great control from the driver!
From my experience drifting the rx8 isn’t too hard, but I could see that catching it could be hard if you had a locked diff

Doing so fixes up a lot of problems. Oh yeah and getting better sensors sometimes helps
