  • Ben Serotta comes and talks to us about the history of Serotta and to show us a new bike using a new tubing set from columbus. They've used Columbus of Italy for 25 years now and to commemorate that, they've come up with this new bike, called the Venticinque.

A great man, and great bikes. I bought my daughter one of his special 'p' framed bikes in steel. She was racing MTB/CX at the time, and we were always fiddling and making changes to get to where she felt good. She took one long ride on the Serotta, came back with big eyes and a huge smile, and declared it perfect- "don't touch a single thing!", she said. 😄

My first bike was a Cinelli, built in the 1960s. I rode it across the Moroccan Sahara into Algeria. I went through a few more bikes and a few more continents before buying a Serotta (1983) - which I still own.
Stiff in the bottom bracket, the Serotta doesn't dissipate your energy. My best bike ever, after riding across four continents.

I bought a stock, off the shelf, Serotta Legend Titanium back in 1999. I wonder what the chances are that Mr. Serotta himself had any part in the build of the bike. I still have it and love riding it. It will never rust and will outlive me.

Picked up a Serotta Colorado Columbus concept tube bike from the early 90's ! It's still enroute to me. Cannot wait!
