I have been using this model since 2013 until today. Perfect road bike

My first bike was a Cinelli, built in the 1960s. I rode it across the Moroccan Sahara into Algeria. I went through a few more bikes and a few more continents before buying a Serotta (1983) - which I still own. Stiff in the bottom bracket, the Serotta doesn't dissipate your energy. My best bike ever, after riding across four continents.

A great man, and great bikes. I bought my daughter one of his special 'p' framed bikes in steel. She was racing MTB/CX at the time, and we were always fiddling and making changes to get to where she felt good. She took one long ride on the Serotta, came back with big eyes and a huge smile, and declared it perfect- "don't touch a single thing!", she said. 😄

Steel needs to come back in cycling industry.

I saw this Respo at Bespoked 2011 with my fiancé and she logged my reaction. 10 years later I’m taken to the workshop in Verona as a surprise for my 50th by my wife and two daughters. We meet Pietro, Cristina and spend a few hours talking July 22 my Ciavete Respo arrives and it’s just a perfect nod to the bike we saw at Bespoked a decade previous.

Hi i love Cycling and this weekend i have bought one of these bikes , i managed to pick one up secondhand for 600gbp and if i was being picky the only fault i can find wrong is having a alumunium frame makes the ride very sensitive and gives you lots of feedback from the road , and vibrations when you go over rough roads and roads with potholes or dips in the road compared to my other bike with narrower cromalloy tubing anyone else found this problem and fault with alumunium tube bikes ?

i geuss they went bankrupt?
