Really cool collab. I watched Anthony's first throw and thought "man, that's Drewish". Tempo was slower, everything more controlled, and the only difference I saw was the offhand starts back farther. Great work you two. I'll check out these discs. Drew, are you doing paid lessons?
Thanks for all the kind words. We’ve made big progress with his throw recently. As of now not taking any lessons.
He's still putting his off arm on his belly instead of keeping it straight and pulling too high. I think that alone would fix a lot of his problems.
Drew seems to be putting a lot more downwards pressure into the last step than Anthony which looks to give more compact powerburst to the throw. This is super informative mini series from you guys!

that SAME amateur move happened to me just last week 😂 and I was trying to practice rotating my hips and shoulders to drive my swing as well! BAM disc flies directly to my right and into the parking lot. I thought wow I must be doing something right if the disc ripped out like that lol

You guys must have picked a good time to play that course. I took a roadtrip to Phoenix from KC earlier this year, and only made it halfway through Fountain Hills before I got tired of trying to avoid all the walkers and picnickers.

I bought an Era from you Drew at the Preserve.. It’s got a chicken flying a plane which is a beautiful stamp and the plastic is perfect. Feels like a mix between star and Gstar. What run/plastic is that because I haven’t seen it anywhere and I flipping love it.
As a mostly MVP thrower, this somehow made my bag. I actually only bought it to support you and show my appreciation for your hustle. Never planned on throwing it because every other Era was more stable and I have something else in that slot. This one is like a longer crave, very neutral. Now it’s not only in my bag but it’s a staple. I’d love to buy another one like it but again I can’t find one.
Just saw them with that stamp available at infinitediscs. It's the composite plastic. And they're $13 right now.
@@jamesfarabaugh6669 so I found that stamp on infinite but that is definitely not the plastic I have. That composite is a translucent plastic. I also picked up a signature composite recently but it’s not the same.

This is a question, not a critique. It looks (at least from the camera angle) that you are both pulling the disc off to the right a little bit. My throw tends to do this also but I was under the impression that that is bad. Are you pulling them slightly right or is that just a camera angle thing? I always hear that your release point should be around 11 o’clock
Any other good courses in Phoenix besides Fountain Hills and Vista del Camino?
I enjoyed playing Buffalo Ridge Park. Maybe not the greatest course in terms of shot shaping and variety, but absolutely spectacular in terms of the beauty and scenery with the desert terrain, plants, and wildlife.

Anthony was breathing like a dog after a walk and I’ve been having issue with these mics getting a lil “static” from time to time. So we’ve changed some setting and are gonna try again. Hope you still enjoyed the video.
No offense Mr. Gibson, but I'm here because I enjoy Bodanza's channel so much. Obviously you're a superior disc golfer, but I think your channel would do even better if you let him pay for his form improvement lessons w/video editing tips. All joking aside, I'm from Tucson and just played a course up in Phoenix for the first time last month, called Conocido Park, while I waited to pick someone up from the airport. Had a nice time. I could see myself losing a lot of discs if I was playing there at the Fountain Hills DG park, as you are. Hilarious to see Anthony out there "feeling around" for your Buzz in the water. Too bad he never found it. I'll have to check out your new discs. Thanks for the content/advertisement.

Southern arizona is a desert, Zach.
October is when they overseed with winter grass (usually rye, I think). They knock down the summer grass, dethatch, aerate, fertilize and throw down the winter seed, so it looks like ish for a few weeks around now. But it'll green up again soon.
