- Create greeble objects crazy fast with this hidden tool!
Did you know that @MaxonVFX Cinema 4D has an instant Greebles generator? In this video, Aharon shows you where to find this hidden tool and how to use it.
The @thepixellab2011 Redshift sci-fi materials I use at the end of the tutorial can be found at thepixellab.net. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
whaaaaat? needed this so many times
Nice one! Very cool.
Not sure how to get the seed on the greeble, but another set up you can do using the node assets is Object(cube in this case) and then drop a Noise selection, and extrude underneath it.
You can also play around with adding a bevel, inset and more extrudes. gives you pretty much a more customizable greeble with a little more set up.
thanks for the video tutorial! I see that there is little asset here, I wish you growth.
Lvn It, Keep it uuup

It's a node asset. You can expose the seed if you want.
Can you explain to me as if you're talking to an idiot? Thanks man.
How?!
@@AharonRabinowitz Open the scene node editor (Window > Node Editor). Drag the Greeble asset in there, select it and click Assets > Edit Asset as Group. Now you can enter the group and make changes. To save a new version of the asset click Assets > Save New Version. You can also save it as a separate asset if you want.
However, while trying to do this I noticed that the seed parameter is actually already exposed and for some reason not showing in the UI. But I managed to fix it by opening the Resource Editor (RMB on the input parameters > Edit Resource [while editing the asset as a group]). In the Res Editor find the Seed parameter and select it. Scroll down until find "Data" and set the Datatype to "Int". Close the Resource Editor and save the asset. Now it should be displayed.
Looks like you found a bug with your request.
@@Havealot Thanks. I went in there but I am not clear on where to connect it. I tried a few different things in a few places but no where that I end up with a seed controller (along with the other parameters, when I apply it. I feel like I am missing something obvious.
I can't find the scifi shader tutorial on their website...
