    JSPlacement is turning out to be a rather awesome program. I use it to create textures for my own models. I have the more advanced version myself, and I'm quite satisfied with it. There is the promise of an even more advanced version in the future, and you can bet I will grab it and install it as soon as it is released.
    Now here is one thing I use the images I generate in JSPlacement for:
    I open an old program known as Bryce 7.1 Pro. In it I create a Symmetrical Lattice. I go to the Deep Terrain Editor (DTE)(accessed by left click on the little E box next to the object in the scene). In the DTE I click New, then I click Picture. This allows me to navigate on my computer to the folder I store my JSPlacement images in. I choose an image and accept it. It loads into the DTE as a height map. I make the object solid while still in the DTE, then click the lower right check mark to exit. Now my symmetrical lattice's shape is defined by the JSPlacement image. I can elongate it on its Y axis to make a cool looking science fiction cigar shaped space ship. Now all I have to do is apply my textures to complete the ship. What do i do? I use JSPlacement images to create my textures. So the whole ship has now been completely created using JSPlacement images and one Bryce Symmetrical Lattice as the base object! Next I create my space environment, arrange my lighting, setup my image parameters and click render. Voila! I have a great looking Science Fiction Space Scene!

    do you having trouble with JSplacement? The screen does not maximize in windows and even deleting the folder as indicated does not return to normal.

  • @mikedar8484
    @mikedar8484 Před 5 lety

    I think JSplacement needs the "Iterations to be able to come down to only one.. as the program is somewhat remarkable using sprites that are from pictures and they make a -neg indentation onto a plane very well. Also a library function improvement would be massive for custom sprites so to have the choice of INDIVIDUAL sprite files within the 'library'. A 'Save Function' is absolutely necessary for the general creations with a capability for subfolders to assign different projects records.

    Didn't seem to work for me and I'm also using JSplacement. I followed the instructions and all I got for the displacement plain was just a wavy plain and not a circuit board. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

      Yes, you can change texture resolution up to 1000px (Photoshop) or change texture resolution in Cinema 4D settings for rendering and viewport texture resolution

    • @bxlxrteeworlds8782
      @bxlxrteeworlds8782 Před 4 lety

      not enough polygons- if you use displacement map, not the displacer, matters on your render engine- arnold- you need geometry octane- you don't need geometry physical- you need geometry corona- you need geometry
