I think, all mammals, not all animals. Because there are snakes and other amphibians that I wouldnât call that empathetic. Pythons and greater snakes, as they grow big enough, will eventually want to consume their human owners

@@thisboitho4656 what do you mean? Getting shorn once a year doesnât hurt them it keeps them healthy and prevents overheating in the summer. A wool sheep will often live their entire natural life.

My Nan used to raise lambs. I remember her bottle feeding them with a bottle in each hand and one bottle between her knees. She kept one lamb as a pet, she named him Curly. He was friendly and we'd all go for walks. My Nan loved to eat Polo mints and she'd share them with Curly. I have no idea if they did him any harm but he loved them. Dear old thing bless him. @GreenJordan 30 buying and selling of animals is the reason for animal exploitation. It's better to rescue them.
Both sheep and goats are herd animals, they need multiple others to feel comfortable and safe. It wouldn't be ethical to have just a single sheep or goat as they would feel unsafe and exposed. Sheep like to have at least 5 and would still be shifty and feeling vulnerable in a small herd like that. Goats are better at handling lower numbers of other goats but still prefer to be around more. Please don't suggest to others to just get 1 or 2... they would be miserable...

I'm going to get some registered breeding stock, and raise them to be sold as breeding stock, and by so doing I'll be "rescuing" a heritage breed on the verge of extinction. Will some be turned into lamb-chops? Yes. Will they be loved every minute of their life? YES. Exploitation is when you try to get maximum profit off an animal while giving them the very least care you can get away with and make a profit. Most livestock breeders love their animals and know that the only way to maximize profit is with happy animals, and happy animals are that way because they are taken care of with dignity. I worked for a company that sold veterinary supplies and human medical suppllies, and they set the cost of the veterinary supplies at twice the people supplies. Their logic was that the average farmer would be willing to spend twice as much on his cattle than on his wife.

This is also one of the reason for animals going extinct.You are trying to sell sentient beings and want to make profit out of this. Can you do these things with human beings?Stop seeing animals as slave and object. You work for veterinary supplies but your response shows that you are not educated regarding animal exploitation. Loving someone unconditionally is the real love. Go,see and interact with some animal sanctuaries and with the animals living there to know the meaning of unconditional love. You can also watch " Earthling Ed" CZcams channel and " PETA website to know about animal exploitation. Please do not exploit animals in the name of rescue.

Because the muscles in your body need protein in order to function properly. Alot of protein in fact. Your heart is one big muscle! Also cats are carnivores they need to eat meat everyday and in order to do that they have to hunt small animals. Death is a part of life, you can't save anyone, everyone dies.
