- In this video we show a Challenge Coin Flag build. This Flag was 36"x19.5" made out of pine. I used 2x4’s to make the stripes that hold the coins, and 1x2’s for the other stripes. Painted Black with a thin blue line, and some CNC stars/text. This was our first go at making one, but it turned out pretty good and the customer was happy with it.

This is absolutely incredible. I believe it's your best project yet! Shared!
Great video
That is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING artwork!🙌❤
Thanks Zeke!
Looks fantastic. I’d like to get one like that with half blue half red. As I have equal time as a Sheriffs Deputy and Firefighter/medic.
Where do you live?
Incredible work. Do you sell build plans?
No, I’ve never made build plans. Sorry. But thanks for watching!
What finish did you use?
I sprayed the front and sides with Rust-Oleum triple glaze clear, and the back I just brushed on some polycrylic. You could definitely use Polycrylic for front and back, my customer just wanted it nice and shiny.
Hii
I saw you used a 1.5” x 1.5” board to make the coin holder. What was your height of the two cuts you made to make the tray to hold the coins?
I sold that flag so I can’t get you the measurements, but all I did was draw how I wanted it to look on one end of the board. I then started with the cut that was 3/4” as this was how thick the rest of my stripes were. I did my cut, looked to see if it matched how deep of a cut I needed for my pencil marks, and adjusted my blade height and ran another pass and repeated until satisfied. Then did my remaining cuts on all my shelved boards I was going with. Hope that helps.
