So sad that Sproul died in December of this same year. His knowledge, his humor and his love for God were so special..he is very, very missed.

God chose her for a purpose and that purpose was to bring Yeshua to earth so Yeshua can live a whole life (30 yrs) being a man to show the jew to repent and believe in God and in him. The only way for salvation is through Yeshua not Mary. And not by praying to the saints or angels or Mary, you won't be saved through them, you will perish.

She's a mother like no mother, she is the mother of Jesus Christ she is the Immaculate Conception. There's never been a mother not even Eve that could come close to the mother of Jesus Christ.
As for angels and Saints and you could include The Blessing mother in that group. They are intercessors and not the mediator. There's only one mediator between man and God and that is Jesus Christ. They are intercessors who are Christlike who have received all the powers and Authority just like the apostles. Once you go to heaven you become a saint. Mary is the mother of Jesus Christ and since Jesus Christ is also considered God you can say that Mary is the mother of God. And if Jesus Christ is also King of the universe well then his mother is Queen of the Universe. And last but not least.. it was God that put Mary on a pedestal. An angel appeared to Mary and told her of the good news and she accepted what was to become God into flesh and became Jesus Christ you lord and savior. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior and I honor his mother because without her he could not have come into this world.
Now I ask you do you know of any mother who is capable of Being Mary the Blessed Mother of Jesus christ? I don't think so not your mother not your neighbor's mother not nobody's mother could come nowhere near the stature of the Blessed Mother of Jesus Christ. So you have a good night Virginia Sanchez

Calvin was a devout follower of a Catholic priest, Augustin. Calvin was also a Catholic in his early twenties, only recently removed from the Roman Catholic Church, when he wrote his treatise. Calvin officiated at over 50 executions of people simply because they did not believe as he did, and Calvin said their deaths should be unmerciful. Calvin's one victim, Arminius, asked to be beheaded instead of burned at the stake, but Calvin refused and tied Arminius' scriptures around him so it flew up in flames into his face for half an hour of agony. why would anyone follow Calvin, a man who in no way resembled Christ and did the opposite of Christ? Jesus always offered mercy and love. How could Calvin be a true believer if he behaved that way? God is not mean and hateful, like that. God offers salvation to all men. the first thing the angel said at the birth of Christ was that he brought tidings of great joy which shall be to ALL PEOPLE, not only ones a small-minded man like Calvin said were handpicked by God. God does not want anyone to perish! Watch one sermon of Yankee Arnold on youtube to find out the truth. It will bring you joy and hope. and you will know for sure you are saved instead of wondering if you will make it to heaven.

There is nothing funny about being ignorant of the Truth he said that God does not love the whole world And he misquoted the scriptures.
He said that God is in enmity against the world that he hates the world that he hates those that are swift to shed blood.
But the scriptures does not say that God is in enmity against the world
The correct scripture is in .
Romans 8:6-9
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
So, the previous scriptures is not referring to the world but the carnal mind the carnal mind is referring to those preachers that are leaders of the people of God who are always condemning the world in the condemnation of the flesh according to the Mosaic law the Bible says that Jesus came not to impute our trespasses on us.
2nd Corinthians 5:18-19
18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation,
19 to wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them, and hath committed unto us the Word of reconciliation.
Those Jews that lived in the first century during the ministry of Jesus were the ones that were guilty of shedding innocent blood so God turned them over to a reprobate mind because they wanted to worship the creature more than the creator in other words those religious leaders the Scribes Pharisees and Sadducees and Essenes and Sanhedrin they were Antichrist because they did not believe that Jesus was the Son of God The King of the Jews and even though The Roman Empire was a Pagan nation there were Roman citizens that were converted and became believers in Christ and received the Holy Ghost.
You can read Matt.23 30-36 Jesus charged the Generation of the Pharisees with the shedding of innocent blood but this charge was not worldwide like R.C. Sproul said he was ignorant of God's word and didn't realize what he was saying.
But spiritually many preachers are shedding innocent blood when they condemn the world for the Bible says that for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have everlasting life and God sent his son into the world not to condemn the world but yet this so called preacher said that God hates the world because he has enmity against the world totally misquoted the scriptures

If you feel God is leading you to tell someone about Jesus, you don’t have to do that at work, you can invite them to have dinner with you after work or on the weekend, you can invite them to church, there are plenty of times outside the work day that you can reach out to people.

The answer at 19:15 about preparing kids going from Christian School to Public School for high school is gold. I just spoke to my grandsons (9 yrs and 6 yrs old) yesterday about this and shared the same thing. It has been on my heart to express to them that the truth of God's Word is timeless and can be trusted to answer any questions or truth claims that they are faced with in the future as they grow. So good!! And love that he mentions and reminds me that my walk and love for the Lord can speak volumes without a word.

YES!! I've always said that Jesus's prayer for unity in John 17 must be answered because the Father can only grant the Son's request! I've prayed with Spanish speaking believers and though we couldn't understand each other,there was a deep bond between us: that's the unity of true Christians.

I agree with Sproul. A lady at my work said her "religious friend" would say when people were mean to her in retail work she would just think 'We are ALL Gods children". And I said we are not ALL Gods children. Man was made in the Image of God. But the only way we can be a child of God is to give our lifes to Christ.
Matthew Begbie ...we give our lives to Christ because we are Gods children NOT in order to become Gods children. Gods action is the prior one. Repentence is a response to Gods love and grace...repentence is NOT in order to recieve Gods love and grace.

He was saying that before the atonement had taken place. However Eph 2:2-3 describes the state we are in before being saved...yet Christ still died for us while we were still sinners. His action was the prior one...our response is repentence to his prior acceptance.

I know bro.... it raises the urgency and need to get to a Ligonier conference soon and even then, he might be on closed-circuit anyway. Time is drawing near. Some friends and I really wanted to go to this conference because of who's on the stage right here. The only way it could be any better is if Piper was there. Few people are as sharp as Sproul while simultaneously empassioned. I still love after all these years when I put in Holiness of God to watch his hair shake when he's emphasizing something! That's the one thing that's missing from most Reformed speakers - they're almost tepid in their demeanor. It's one negative that accompanies, in some people, the comfort in "being used" to the Doctrines of Grace. ...probably the other is being calloused from defending them to professed Christians. I'm a little concerned for the younger generations' leading faces of Christianity. After closer look, David Platt actually gives some hope.

Do you believe in the perseverance of the saints? Some might say, "once saved always saved"?
JCIL, you have a very distorted understanding of Reformed Theology. You should really study it from the Reformers themselves rather than taking someone's word on what it is, what Calvinism is. Ephesians 1:4 states, "For he chose us in him before the creation of the world.." Before the creation of the world, God chose those who were to be His. After Jesus told the disciples that no one can come to Him except the Father draw him, the disciples were talking among themselves and said that this is a hard saying, who can understand it. Salvation is simple, but the intricate details of it can be complicated. That is why preachers study and labor in the Word to construct their sermons. It's not all "milk," there is "meat" in there that must be carefully prepared. So, there are many things in the Word that we have to dig deep to get to. We can't survive on the milk of the Word only, we need to grow to be able to consume the meat as well. Luther, Calvin, Owens, and many other men of God who brought the Reformation to us by the guidance of God were men who taught the meat of the word. I encourage you to read their side of the issue. It's quite obvious you are being misled on the truth of what the Reformers actually taught.

Yes..we can form and mold a child's mind to stay clear and become weary of the decietfulness and Evilness of the world, but we must be vigilant in respect to the comprehension of a child's HEART! If there is not a change of heart in a child, oh how worrying it is to see there eventual walk of life!

I love Q&A as well. Something that I hear that actually struck me though was that phrase “as God originally intended.” As if, He intended for it to be a certain way and somehow He “lost control” and it didn’t go as he planned. If He is sovereign over everything...
Then wouldn’t that then mean that everything is going exactly according to how He intended for it to go?
If God is all knowing. Then this is not a surprise to Him (the fall). God doesn’t just “work with our situations.” God doesn’t just get dealt a bad hand and just “figures it out.” God is the one that DEALS the deck...
Seems to mean like how God wants us to perceive what righteousness is.
I kinda think it’s along the line of Jesus died for ALL, knowing not all will come.. He has a permissive will, allowing man to have his way, and His Sovereign will, that will not change... His omniscience, all knowing characteristic, knows the outcome....
Good point. Period. God will never change His plan based on our choices. He is solid and trustworthy today, tomorrow and forever.

how interesting seen R.C taking the lead on a Philosophical and Theological concept and look at Lawson and Mohler confused is priceless , and a good opportunity to realize that we are humans and we don't know it all.

Unity ..I totally agree we had problems in our church until one Super bowl Sunday 27 Church members got saved all problems stopped our pastor never even got to preach I have never seen anything like it

SPROUL IS CORRECT WHEN HE EXPLAINED FURTHER that GOD's LOVE is nounconditional because Biblicaly GOD's LOVE is conditional as the Almighty Lord God the Son, JESUS CHRIST, said in His words in John 14;21,23 that GOD THE FATHER will love us IF we love and obey and keep our LORD JESUS CHRIST'S COMMANDMENTS and the SON will love us and BOTH GOD THE FATHER and THE SON will come into us and make THEIR abode in us.
