Amen. I can remember feeling that desperation .........to be saved. I had been in church all my life and went before the church as an 7 year old child, but I wasn't under conviction so I wasn't saved. But when I was 26 years old, the gospel message broke my heart and I was saved. Thank you for this word today from the Holy Word. Maranatha.

I know you’re just fired up & enthusiastic. It’s just something that non Christians would seize upon & accuse u of “forcing” your faith on others, call u “judgmental”, say you’re spreading “hateful/discriminatory speech”, & most egregious, say you’re a “fear monger”🙄. It’s so, so sad & extremely difficult to navigate & follow Jesus if you’re a recent recruit or born from about the mid 1990’s and kids who are of school age today. It takes absolute faith, strength, & obedience to spread the gospel & not be a modern day “Peter”. But that’s where we are now. Ppl hiding/disguising, & even denying their faith. Thank you from Australia. In my senior years now I can look back and see how God worked in my life. Learning to pray and learning scrioture in my very early years by kind Nuns while a resident at an orphanage. Then further capacity to attend Christian Sunday School holiday camps arts and crafts in spite of having non believer care givers. Lost my way for a bit and was found again in early adulthood and sought out Church and Bible teaching ever since. Was blessed to discover recordings from Grace Community Church over six years ago. Pastor John preaches like no other and thank God for his ability and the internet in these times. As he has said life will bring you trouble but comfort comes from listening to the True word of God. The loss of what was Christian known as Religions instructions in state schools in Australia has put our Country backwards. In Lord Jesus name we pray for the children and youth of today. amen.

@@danpan001 Northern Ireland in the 21st century is a multicultural society. In the past the main religions were Catholicism and protestantism. Yes I left the Catholic church because that was the religion of my parents. It was not my choice. I am a follower of Jesus Christ I don't need all the religious garb of the Catholic church.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ - (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) is the Gospel which saves, and is not the same as the Gospel of the Kingdom which was preached to the ancient Jews. It is not the same thing. With the "...being in the flow of passing on the truth." Sometimes I think some people fall for the sound of their own thoughts being aired. Then instead of "brevity being the soul of wit" they seem to want to expound and expand. I would rather be brief and moving right along...the rest is almost blandishments.
And you don't always have to be the first one to answer, you only force someone else to formulate a defense against doing nothing but listening to you. Lay back some and let the spirit move... The moderator should get better at taking charge in subtle ways in some moments. But I love Pastor John and his words and understanding of the wretchedness and knowingness of the sinner made it all worthwhile. I hope I don't seem too critical, sometimes I think I have to speak.
This world is full of sin , I know I cannot be saved by keeping the law, but the law shows me what sin is , Romans 7 v 7

With all due respect it may be gold but its not difficult. Difficult is walking out a ministry with a charismatic calling. Its not easy at all and Boris makes it much much harder. I like John Macarthur and get something from his teachings but he makes my life so much tougher than it has to be. He is so very wrong on this issue.
@@knowsmebyname right.. I personally don't agree with a lot of MacArthur's teachings. He is more about himself and less about scripture. Compare him with someone like Voddie Baucham who backs everything up with scripture. MacArthur uses what he THINKS. It's simple, scripture tells us that the Holy Spirit equips us and HIS word does not return void. Mac Arthur tries to act like he knows it all and complicates matters
If Doctor MacArthur came into my restaurant, I’d leave the kitchen to at least shake his hand, if not hug him. Christ used him and his teaching to reach me. I owe him my life, I was in a place with no hope, and if I wasn’t physically dead I was certainly spiritually and emotionally dead. Thanks Doctor for all your work.

How do you know that DJ Razonable? I know non cessationists who love J Mac and Sproul and all the men on that stage. And I'm one. Be careful in pigeon holing people and by that lift yourself up as having the "right" view.

Accurate, simply put, presentation of Salvation through God’s choosing, and reaching , and quickening of the individual soul to repent and accept Jesus Christ as Savior !
Passing over God’s FIRST reaching out to the unsaved sinner to open their heart and mind , is detrimental to understanding the Glory, and mystery of Salvation. Thank you.
My pastor wrote a excellent book on the history and theology of calvinism by Dr. Curt Daniel filled with rich theology! Speaks well of the truth of the reformed faith. God bless these men of God

Thank you gentlemen. I have been waiting for these Q&A sessions. I learn a lot. I understand discipleship and engage myself in various classes/groups to mature my faith. How do we bridge the gap between discipleship and serving with the body in local outreach? Seems like many in the church want to grow in their faith but don't become as committed to sharing the Gospel with the lost in their local community. Isn't that all part of the Great Commission?

It works for me by volunteering somewhere and developing relationships. "They will know we are Christians by our love." You will know when the Holy Spirit has set you up to go deeper with somebody or many. Respond to that when it happens.
Praise be to our GOD, I was regenerated, born again after death! I died, had signed away revival as had my Buddhist wife. I was revived because my wife made a deal with Jesus that if he would give me back to her she would follow him. I understand now how GOD had a plan of how he would bring not only my wife but me back to serve him. I live in awe of my GOD and pray he will use me in some way, no matter how small, to serve for his glory. Amen.

J mac sermons online really helped me develop my faith, I have gained and continue to gain great theology from his teachings. However, there are channels like remnant radio, and Mike winger who's theology directly matches up with John mcauthor, they aren't "hyper charaistmatic" when you look at the most extreme examples or people in the church abusing the gifts it is easy to want to be a cessationist, I am still very open minded, but I would not call ,myself a cessationist now. I still believe the gifts are present and are used in the same way they were in the apostolic age, they make look different , and don't seem to be as common, but when God really wants to give someone a prophetic message, lay there hands on someone and heal them, speak in tounges, and wants to do it to edify the church by doing soo, I believe he can and still does. Still love all these guys , just would love for everyone not to look at the most extreme cases of hyper charismatic instances and think that's what most are like. Still seaking God about these things. Would love any channels , pastors, anything to keep broadening my knowledge of the Gospel and what others think and believe soo that I can minister to them if need be , or change , my views. I am just soo glad for personal discernment and the Bible in which we have to read for ourselves.
