I feel so blessed to be able to listen to John MacArthur's teachings. I only discovered him early 2021 and realized that my family and I were in a watered down gospel prosperity type of church and through a series of resources after buying One of his books, I found my new reformed bible church. Best $9.99 I've ever spent 😜. No more be bethel music, or entertainment to get us to church. We love listening and learning from our new Pastor who exposits the bible, book by book. Been in Acts since our 1st day there in May and we love it. John MacArthur bible study is so worth it too! Now I look forward to quiet time, just me and God's breathed words. Praise the Lord!
I thank the LORD, that he is well, from hearing all those negative health issues on social media. I prayed to the LORD, to not removing him from this crooked world, for the Saints sake. John Macarthur is not only the Shephard, for the California Church, he's been a shepherd to the BODY OF CHRIST. I have been well grounded in the GOSPEL through his teaching . I remember a time when I could only stand his preaching in small doses. After years of backsliding, I finally repented and truly surrendered to His Lordship. Now, I cannot get enough of Pastor John's preaching.

Most of John MacArthur's teachings seem to be sound. I at least appreciate where He is willing to stress biblical truths even against current trends suggesting some evolution of the faith that negates previous institutes such as women teaching the word to men. But the idea that God is incapable of or does not give personal revelations of himself directly to individuals through his spirit due to the fact that there may be some out there who make false or errant claims of this or who seem to portray what they may have heard in such a manner that indicates their interest in personal gain as their reason for communicating whatever information they claim to have received is unfounded. It's also interesting to note that as much as he stresses the word as objective and external to himself in this interview and that personal experience is not a good indicator for the objectivity of the truth, at the same time in his sermon where he denounces personal direct revelation from God as hokey due to word of faith preachers that he relies on his own experience (or lack thereof) to indicate that it doesn't really happen. If God doesn't communicate to people directly then much of the Scripture should be considered a lie because supposedly this is how all Scripture was inspired and we are also plainly told through the Scripture that God does in fact choose to communicate to those who are willing to hear him in just such a manner.

I know allot of people are wondering about John's health. He had the stomach flu about 2 weeks ago. My sister spoke to his daughter today and he is doing great. Nothing to speak of. He is still resting, he's getting up there and this last year had been exhausting.

Dr. MacArthur is truly an unparalleled teacher/shepherd. I just recently found his/Grace's CZcams channel and started watching. Now I'm binge watching and have learned more correct Scripture interpretation from watching him than ever before. He is amazing and so easy to understand. This man's teaching has so blessed me. I only discovered him about four years ago, and now I am constantly listening to his sermons, have his Study Bible, and he has greatly guided my theology. This issue is not foundational. People will be saved if they believe it or if they don't believe it. It's not a necessary doctrine for salvation, and if you think it is you are majoring on minor issues! Go and do something constructive for the kingdom of God instead of trying to cause division in the body of Christ!

This church is a spiritual church, it is not a part of any of the physical church's. The real church consists of one here, and one there, scattered all over the world. I used to get cassette tapes by mail from Grace To You. Also, living in out in the country, we did not get a strong radio signal from Seattle. I would take my wall phone off the hook and put it on top of my radio to boost the program. Times are definitely different now.

I just dont understand how wrong some people think about God, it's like they're on a mission to deceive people, and most probably haven't opened a Bible. I was brought up hearing everyday about God & Heaven. I thank God for my parent's making sure i knew God, and bringing me to church, and i passed it on to my children, and grandchildren. Best $9.99 I've ever spent 😜. No more be bethel music, or entertainment to get us to church. We love listening and learning from our new Pastor who exposits the bible, book by book. Been in Acts since our 1st day there in May and we love it. John MacArthur bible study is so worth it too! Now I look forward to quiet time, just me and God's breathed words. Praise the Lord!

I prayed a long time to know what the truth was, because over the years I grew increasingly confused, frustrated, misguided and so on.. But like most of us, I kept returning to church Sunday after next hoping something would change. If I sang more, prayed harder, got more involved, etc, ...maybe something would give. But nothing ever did. I must have walked a thousand isles. It had gotten to a point where a friend at the time said, “just try and sing". He meant well, but it was always disingenuous so I never did. Long story short - my whole Christian life was that way until recently. (powerless) God has since saved me through genuine faith alone in Jesus Christ and now my labouring has finally ceased and I share in the Lords light burden and easy yoke. I’m born again of the Spirit.
I really hope this reaches somebody. If this is you... honestly, please look into what I’m saying. God is rich in mercy and His patience is unmatched. He's been drawing me for a long time. Maybe He’s drawing you too and this is the message you needed.

It’s imperative to understand that the av1611 is much different than the 1769 KJV that most believe is the true 1611 but is not. The KJV only movement doesn’t use the authorized version of 1611 either.
This is the bible that Rome has been trying to destroy and cast doubt on since its inception. Everything, from the gun powder plot to false rumours of King James being gay. It contains all the prophecies in tact. Things like, what is the mark of the beast, what is wormwood, who and what is Antichrist, who are Leviathan and Behemoth representations of, and so on.
If the scriptures are broken, the prophets are killed and the church can’t hear what the Spirit is saying.

Most of John MacArthur's teachings seem to be sound. I at least appreciate where He is willing to stress biblical truths even against current trends suggesting some evolution of the faith that negates previous institutes such as women teaching the word to men.
But the idea that God is incapable of or does not give personal revelations of himself directly to individuals through his spirit due to the fact that there may be some out there who make false or errant claims of this or who seem to portray what they may have heard in such a manner that indicates their interest in personal gain as their reason for communicating whatever information they claim to have received is unfounded. It's also interesting to note that as much as he stresses the word as objective and external to himself in this interview and that personal experience is not a good indicator for the objectivity of the truth, at the same time in his sermon where he denounces personal direct revelation from God as hokey due to word of faith preachers that he relies on his own experience (or lack thereof) to indicate that it doesn't really happen.
If God doesn't communicate to people directly then much of the Scripture should be considered a lie because supposedly this is how all Scripture was inspired and we are also plainly told through the Scripture that God does in fact choose to communicate to those who are willing to hear him in just such a manner.

I just dont understand how wrong some people think about God, it's like they're on a mission to deceive people, and most probably haven't opened a Bible. I was brought up hearing everyday about God & Heaven. I thank God for my parent's making sure i knew God, and bringing me to church, and i passed it on to my children, and grandchildren. So humble about that. I was not taught disliking the color of others skin. My Best friend told me that i didn't just have a Mom, I had a angel for a Mom. Thank You Jesus, you are my everything ❤❤❤.
