When Ken made the comment about "your sister lost their arm in this terrible accident now we gotta cut yours", it reminded me of the movie, What Happened To Monday. The movie is about septuplets but in the era they live in, people are only allowed 1 child. Named after a day of the week, the girls can go out the house on the day they are named after but go by the same name out in public, as adults work the same job.1 girl as a child escaped before her day and ended up losing a finger in an accident and so their grandfather had no choice but to cut the rest of the 6 girls's same finger so no one would realise there were 7 of them. These twins in the video seem to want to live like the septuplets in the movie.

I knew a pair of autistic twins, loved them. It did present some unique difficulties though because they were actually much different in how their symptoms presented, and people tended to assume they’d be the same. Or once they realized they weren’t, kind of just forget that the less independent one existed. Very sad. She got skipped a lot during group games. I guess people assumed that because she couldn’t do everything her twin could, that she just couldn’t do anything? And she was nonverbal so she couldn’t really say anything. I made sure she got a turn whenever I played, and she started following me around and once even hugged me which was a big deal for her. Shows you that they do notice things.

As someone who doesn't have kids I would never have guessed this myself, but babies are supposed to spend a certain amount of time on the floor daily (called floor time or tummy time) so they use their neck & shoulder muscles to lift their head & develop movement skills like rolling & crawling. It's 30 mins/day minimum for a newborn & is gradually increased until they are 6-8 months old & spend most of their waking hours on the floor. And if you need a quick minute to grab something, the floor is the best place to put a baby (on something soft ofc) because they can't roll off of it.
But to be fair, it doesn't actually seem like they were doing it for any of these reasons. 😆

In real life you have to pack ‘em along with you where ever you go.” But some schools actually have newborns that are computer controlled and take a reading of how they are treated.

I landed myself in it the other day. I was at work and this girl came in with her mum, the girl was about 24ish (in the nicest way possible, you can tell she has some sort of learning difficulty), but she also came in with a pram, and it looked like there was a baby in it (I couldn’t see the baby, just the blanket and an outline of a baby as the hood was very far down). I heard sweet baby noises, and said “aw is the baby awake”, and her mother replied no “it’s the baby behind you” (I had not realised that the person sat behind us also had a baby), so I continued to say “aw he must be very fast asleep” (music was load in the shop and and the other customers were rather loud). Later on the daughter got up to answer a call (her mother asked her to move away from the table where I was serving them as she was literally doing that shout talking thing that some people do)
anyway, once gone her mother turns to me and says, just so you’re aware, it’s not a real baby, it’s a doll, she’s in her 20’s, but has a brain of a 7 year old. I apologised profusely, as I was only trying to make conversation whilst the systems were down, thankfully the mother was very understanding and actually laughed it off (said that the doll creeps her out and thank goodness it wasn’t real, as it would have been one ugly baby) 😂 - Side note, the doll was in a very expensive pram, kitted out to the max, and it wasn’t even a really baby. Bless her though, I’m not making fun of her, I just felt like an idiot 😂
