Heâs been arrested for fraud before. Heâs a crook. It doesnât surprise me at all that he treats his workers poorly. I find that people who preach hyper-positivity like him tend to be insincere. He kinda reminds me of Ellen in that regard

I really can't help but notice that people who spend so much time and effort into presenting themselves as the "person with the most amazing morals and can do no wrong and help so much", always have a massive amount of skeletons in their closet.

And those people are easy to see through because no matter how confidently they preach, anyone with actual insight into what people like Dhar Mann claim to be experts of can tell they're full of it. His videos are cringe and lack substance because he has nothing to actually say, nor any clue how to say it.

Recently 2 more actors have came out with statements against Dhar and it looks horrible on his part. Nathan exposed how it was shady how you have to sign the contract before you know what role you get and even for the main roles, youâre only at the studio for 3 hours. He revealed that he made about $132 in a span of 3 days which is a joke. Actors in the real world get paid on day rate, not hourly. Kali came forward and said heâs a joke because she loses money when working for him because she lives a few hours away from LA and all the money she makes goes towards paying for gas and a hotel to stay in.

I really adore Mary. I grew up watching her and Marzia (pewdiepies wife) and they helped so much with my body image, getting into cosplay in Mary's case and accepting myself.
I really hated being "feminine" because I'd be made fun of it for wearing makeup, and had a lot of issues and self loathing for being a woman, but they really boosted my self esteem and helped me realise I am perfectly acceptable the way I am but also makeup and being more feminine presenting doesn't detract from my natural self or make me lesser.
Nothing but love for those two and it's so lovely seeing them still loving and having a family with Ken and Pewds. They deserve the world :)

Although some individual CZcamsrs contract actors for videos, it's different for Dhar Mann. What he's made is a company where he's using contracted actors as long term employees, so he doesn't have to give more pay or benefits. He makes millions off these videos while being a vulture to these actors just trying to make their rent. He's already stated on Instagram that the pay is good for contractors and they won't be made into employees, well because it makes him more money in the end...
...not to mention the scams he's already been caught in, i'm not surprised he is this way.
He has a flippinâ studio as well. I mean, does he see himself as a Dhar Mann âfamily channelâ to validate the compensation? Iâd probably recognize the actors first on a sidewalk than him.

The pay is just so bad that one of the actors said she loses money when working for him. Kali is the girl who plays Allison Day and she hasnât worked with him for over 10 months now because the little amount of money she makes goes towards paying for gas and a hotel which is very expensive. It isnât even enough either which is where she loses her money. Also Dhar has been arrested for fraud before so Iâm really not surprised that he wonât pay his actors.

I actually got lambasted in Atozyâs comment section for saying that my son who is 11 was like obsessed with watching Dhar Mann. And that hearing that something he liked was created by a bad man would break his heart. A lot of the times Dharr had really crappy messages anyway but that would start a conversation because I would watch them with my son, I love him more than I canât stand the content lol, and it would start the conversations about how the lessons that he was trying to teach were just toxic. A lot of it is toxic positivity, and now Iâve explained to my son what Dhar Mann was doing and he doesnât watch Dhar Mann anymore. He doesnât like him because heâs not a good person. And Iâm actually really proud of my son for coming to that conclusion, and I wanted him to come to that conclusion on his own because heâs learning to be a human and I want him to learn to be a good human Iâm not gonna refuse him from watching something like Dhar Mann because I donât like it but I also wonât let him think that Dhar Mannâs word is freaking Bible either. We are now a Dharr Mann free household. Thank GOD đ
One of Dhars main arguments is that actors know what they're signing up for so they shouldn't be complaining. They say they pay their actors 18$ if you're a background character and 33-34$ if you have a speaking role. And this is an HOURLY rate. Which is the main problem. Bcs for example the set takes 5 days. And you're obligated to be there for 5 days, you can't take up any jobs bcs at every moment you can be called in. But you only get paid for the time u were acting. That's how one of the actors got 125$ per ONE VIDEO that took 5 days to shoot.
This seems more of the actors inability to negotiate a better contract?

I remember when One of Dhar mann's actor's passed away (I unfortunately don't know his name but he was the old dad/grandpa black dude who was really wholesome from the old videos)
And Dhar Mann made a video about it that sounded completely robotic and oddly cheerful I understand that everyone grieves different and that it was probably hard to make a video about one of your actors dying but still, it gave me weird vibes

What irritated me is that he presents a lot of these actors as faces of the company, especially mair. She was the one who did the big tour of the new facility. To any reasonable person, it would seem as though she was an employee of the actual Dhar Mann studios. Besides, i really thought Dhar Mann would want them to be ONLY Dhar Mann Studio actors. That way, in case one of them became a big star, he would somehow be able to take a percentage of their money, like "oh, dhar mann studios is her agent/manager, so gimme money."

I am genuinely not even surprised. I caught one of his more recent videos. It went from c-tier to dumpster fire as soon has his part came up. It was extremely self-indulgent and narcissistic.
It was so bad my eyes rolled so hard that they actually tore loose in the socket and are now free-floating. I'm now forced to type one-handed while the other holds my eye in place so I can see the screen.

It's a little weird to (seemingly) not want to keep people who aren't there just for the money but also because they genuinely like working on videos.
As long as he can keep people who are dedicated to their work and who are good at their job, why not just pay them a liveable wage?

From what I understand all the actors started out was meeting with Dhar Mann to discuss wages and such and he blew them off sending in hr reps and that's why they are now on strike. I know he released a statement as well.

Omg Ken..7:13 that guy is the dad inmost of his videos. heâs like the hard working dad who canât seem to give his daughter everything she wants. Heâs also a teacher,and a sensitive husband. Heâs in like dozens of videos. Same with the little girl,the skinny blonde uptight woman, the older black man, and the blonde long haired winey blonde woman with blue eyes and pale skin. These are the top ones I recall being in alot of videos- then he brought in more-I canât believe i watched a bunch of these. There was another channel that had longer more in depth videos but they were not as short and cut down.
The other person his videos have a longer duration followed by a longer explanation at the end.

As someone who lived and worked in Burbank for many years, I can tell you right now these "actors" are worth what they're getting paid.
It's anywhere from $75-150 for a few hours of work. Often paid in cash on the way out the door. (Not saying they're cash based but I did many large jobs that literally gave you an envelope.)
They also provide a meal or 2 depending on how long the work day is, and you agree to the pay rate up front. THESE are the jobs you give to all of the people who just moved to LA. They have no experience. School isn't real work experience. They work a part time job and use youtube and small gigs as a way to build a demo reel. It's also a great way to make friends because everyone is on the same level. Which is the bottom of the barrel.
If they were worth more pay, they'd join SAG and stop taking youtube jobs.

I've worked with many documentaries, crime reenactments, live audience work, large youtube work, and even animation. It's always the same ^ until you join SAG. Then you can get a base rate increase and apply to SAG only gigs.

My mom is a teacher and she told me that when she first started her job she didnât get paid very much. but teachers get a pay raise for their 10 year and for every additional degree she has. So she gets paid much more than most teachers because of her masters degree in teaching and associates in counseling.

Idk how how much they're getting paid but let's say it's really low like they're saying. That makes Dhar Mann a real asshole but at the end of the day didn't they agree to that amount? Didn't they all sign a contract? Could he be paying more? Yes, absolutely! But if he isn't then why work for him in the first place just to complain later?? I really don't understand it...
Also, someone commented they were getting paid like $33/hr for 72 hrs work. That's $2,376 for 3 days of work! (or 9 days of 8 hours of work) If that's true I think it's not bad payment at all. Granted they're in CA so maybe it's not that high for them but imagine being paid $33/hr for a full on monday-friday job? Is that unfair?

I saw an interview on TikTock saying that they get paid anywhere from $33-42 an hour for speaking roles. But they only get paid for the actual amount of time they film and they also have to supply there own wardrobe and do their own hair and makeup. So a lot of them only get paid for like three hours of any given video.
