01:47 Tip 3 - "Seek Three Wise Beasts"
03:21 Tip 4 - Hidden Stonesword Key
04:19 Tip 5 - Hidden Cave + Spirit Ashes
06:29 BONUS TIP - Awesome Shield

10:08 Tip 7 - Flame Of Frenzy STRONG FAITH SPELL
10:54 Tip 8 - Hidden Merchant + Lantern
13:07 Tip 9 - Tower Of Return IT'S A TRAP!
14:15 Tip 10 - BEST TALISMAN
15:51 Big Thank you Friends xxx - Hry
About tip 9: That location is not pointless. There is a powered down teleporter in there which activates at a certain point in the game and using it transports you to a hidden divine tower which is the only way to activate a great rune from a certain late game optional boss.
Also that talisman must be % based because it definitely gives me much more than 1 hp per second. I have used it several times to top off and keep my full health damage buff going.
It recovers 2 hp every like 1.5 seconds.
@@relic9842 I thint it is 1.5 hp every second. So the game essentially gives you 1, 2, 1 ,2 and so on.
There was an item in bloodborne that worked very similar.
Liar
@@josephthompson8960 Who are you talking about?
Hey everyone!
I'm so excited to continue this series, I really hope you enjoy!!
I also took your feedback from the last video and added chapters so it's easy to see what each tip is, and also made it much more obvious and clear *where* each of these tips are on the map ❤❤
You should talk about the early Dungeon near the tutorial area that requires a Stone Key, that Dungeon is really challenging but ALL the rewards are worth It (one of the best talismans, Spirit Ashes, Golden seed, a bow, etc)
Quality
Great job 👏🏿
Keep it going. If you do lore video to that will help views as well. Be careful about linking yourself to only one game though.
Praise the algorithm?
I've been playing this game completely blind. When I feel like I'm completely done with a region and found everything I watch this series to see what I missed. Great vids! Crazy to think you searched a region/place to its fullest and still miss things. Keep up the great content. Thank you!
Exact same. I rarely play games more than once and I love to do everything I can in my playbthrough of an rpg. These videos are great for after I feel that I'm done with an area.
Ha ha yes. Sames. 🤣
There's speed runs, and then there's the guy who is blind. Hats off to you.
not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but from the Tombsward Catacombs, if you go slightly northeast, past the Demi-Human Forest Ruins. There's a Faith-Knot Crystal Tear by the ledge surrounded by a couple small plant enemies.
Cheers mate, was just right there when I read this and grabbed it
13:56 The Blessed Dew talisman that gives hp over time behind the giant is very useful when standing outside of a boss door or able to pause in a cave so as to recover hp without flask use if needed. Useful in a pinch!
Not quite sure how to describe it but there’s a plateau to the east of the minor Erdtree. Use the tombstones to hop down and mind the bats. The grounds are constantly being struck by lightning ( what’s that about anyway?) but off to one edge you can grab the Lightning Strike incantation. Didn’t know this place existed until my third character took on Weeping Pen.
Yeah I found that too and was wondering why it wasn't on the list. Still plenty on here I missed tho
The lightning strikes in several locations in the game. You have to farm all of the lightning plants (forgot the name of them) and the lightning will stop. Run into the lightning field (avoiding being struck is simple on the steed, and harvest all of the lightning plants for crafting
Read the item descriptions! There is a ton of lore in the descriptions. You went the whole game not knowing who was fighting by your side. Lhutel the Headless is a woman. “Lhutel sacrificed her life so that in Death she could continue to protect a soulless demigod until their revival, earning her the hero's honor of Erdtree Burial.”
Who cares
@@lewispooper3138 not you apparently
yeah the item lore is amazing in this game
You know Lhutel could very well have been a man who identifies himself as a woman. In other words, who cares. All that matters is that he/she/they/it gets the job done.
Did you ask if they identified as a woman? BIGOT
Best Eldon Ring videos on CZcams!!! I have been a gamer for 45 years (I am 53) and played all of the Dark Souls games and love Eldon Ring (better than DS actually). Wanted to say your videos are superior to all others - concise, accurate, well narrated and overall pleasant and informative. I think your channel should explode with subscribers - at least it should. Kind regards, Troy Duncan.
What’s your favorite build Troy ?
@@lunchmunny2308 Up until last week, I have been 100% PvE and run a samurai dex build using a +25 Nagakabi cold on right, +25 Katana blood on left, +25 Great Briar Shield and a +25 Petal whip. I use +10 Marionette soldiers (they rock). No problem with PvE and only have two bosses left (Godfrey and Melania) - been killing all of the optional bosses and stuff before I kill Godfrey. I have intentionally stayed at level 118 (60 vigor) with PvP in mind as making two characters does not interest me. Started PvP and I am disappointed. Everything is based on special weapon arts instead of old school blocking, parrying, striking, backstabs, rolling etc. I switched for PvP and I have played around with the Rivers of Blood Katana and Helice builds and they do very well but basically PvP right now is all about L2 instead of true fighting. Have you done PvP and what are your thoughts?
Evergaol is pronounced everjail
I couldn’t agree more!! Only one year off in age from you and like doing games myself without spoilers but being able to back check to make sure I haven’t screwed up a quest or missed something cool. OP’s videos are perfect in that regard :)
Cheers!!

The Blessed Dew Talisman is awesome. I use it a lot. It helped me a ton in Stormveil Castle when i was creeping around everywhere trying to be stealthy because I was moving fairly slow. I would get in fight in one room and get nicked up pretty good, and then after the fight i would not have to use a health flask. By the time i creeped over slowly and steathily to the next area, it had filled my health back up. its not THAT slow.
yeah the Dew Talisman is nothing to scoff at, especially if you've not got a vigor heavy build.
Yeah I was coming to post this, if you're between points of grace or don't want to waste your pots and know you're safe, just park yourself in a corner and let the talisman do its thing while you grab a drink or something. I wear it constantly, ANY health regen is better than nothing.
i found a talisman that gives hp on critical hits. its pretty good
I agree talisman is extremely helpful when exploring. 2 health per second isn't that much in a pinch of boss battle, but consider you might easily spend 2-3 minutes just riding around looking for stuff and gathering rowa fruits between the fights in open world it basically allows you to be contantly on full health without using flasks. Especially when working in tandem with beastial vitality and serpent-god's sword.
Agreed. I still use it in certain circumstances in the overworld.
A couple of these tombs are hinted at when you activate those creepy statues... they activate a magical blue line that points directly towards the opening
And they remain marked on your map if you haven't discovered the catacomb they point to (they always point to catacombs).
Also at night there are Jellyfishes roaming outside
Great video, really really helpful for a new player like myself. I'm at about 50% in finding some of this on my own, and 50% new things that I am quickly writing down! Really hope there are more videos for each area. I will continue coming back for them!
Lmao great for any player, this game is massive and it’s easy to miss anything
Ya GOTTA keep doing these videos! They are some of the most helpful videos I've seen on the game so far!
That axe is actually quite good! Gives you FP when you kill an enemy while it is equipped, and you can put your choice of ash of war on it.
Also, if you have in your left hand while two handing your right hand weapon, say moonveil, you can get the FP by killing without having to use the axe. very useful
these guides have been really useful. thank you! reminds me of the old days of gaming and looking up fan-made guides in the forums.
I’m surprised you didn’t mention the turtle shell stamina shield. I figure a lot of people are missing that do to it’s hidden location. It was arguably one of the best shields in the game until they neutered it 😔…
Right now i have the beast crest heater and the flame crest wooden shield. is Mr. Turtle a better shield? I'm an over leveled confessor who needs help. lol
By the way....how do I know if I'm fat rolling? is there a color or a number or an indicator that will tell me if I'm at the 70% weight mark or approaching it?
@@snickle1980 There is a indicator for your weight somewhere on the bottom right of your status page. If it’s in the red you’re fat rolling. The turtle shield got nerfed so you’re better off using the stamina trinket.
Isn't the brass shield better in every way?
@@ThanosWasRightt I have the brass shield at this point too. Level 39 and i still refuse to do the main quest 😁.
Still haven't killed Margaret, but i have eight +4 flasks, Star-scourge, that blood art on top of the aldready bleed-ready Uchi-Cuchi samurai sword, and some other nice knick-nacks. I'm still basically playing this like Skyrim.
I'll kill Margaret eventually. I just want to find a few more secrets.
@@ThanosWasRightt I think the turtle shell gives you stamina regen even when it’s just on your back. So you can stack them with the talisman.
Thank you .. The way you express the info without spoiling is so much appreciated. I like the element of surprise when I’m playing. And when trying to look for a very specific details its hard to not get spoiled. You might not read this. But so much gratitude towards you brother.
Thank you .. you made it very simple to find. Appreciate how you break down the different areas to find items you missed. Keep doing what you do. This makes my playing time a lot easier
I’ve watched a few of your videos; but I only just now subscribed. Your walkthroughs/tips are really thorough & well explained. Great work!
Love the series man!! Keep it up! I'm a completionist as well but just don't have the time really to go through as much as I'd like. One thing I'm trying to do right now is obtain EVERY sorcery spell. I know that would be a lot though considering the lengthy quest lines required for some of the legendary spells. Perhaps just the easier more hidden ones that most of the other content creators aren't covering? Just something to consider for future content if you feel so inclined =)
Yo Domtastic I absolutely love these videos!!! Keep up the great content man!!! There super helpful and helps me appease the perfectionist inside of me. 😂
Amazing series!!! Tons of guides and tips videos out there but yours is the best by far IMHO.
7:18 Probably the most useful attribute to this shield is that it has no skill, which allows you to use your main-hand weapon's skill without being required to 2-hand.
Great for beginners not yet completely confident in abandoning the shield, and great for players who simply enjoy incorporating the shield-counter into their catalogue of viable contextual strategies.
Ooh yes nice one!
I thought "no skill" was just the game describing what it thought of me! 😂
@@DomsRoundtable If you squint, at juuust the right angle, you'll realise that sun emblem actually reads "Git gud".
Can you explain it again, I’m a souls noob. Lol not exactly sure what you mean here
@@bmsismylife Every weapon has a special skill/attack, but you need to 2-hand it to use it. You can't do that with a shield, instead you'll use whatever the shield's special skill is (parry, shield bash, etc.).
But if a shield has no skill you default to the weapon's skill without needing to 2-hand it.
r/iamverysmart
These are really great, thanks for doing them. I am playing completely blind but really taking my time trying to find every little thing. Its super nice once I feel like I have seen all there is to come back and view these to see if there is anything that I missed
I quite like the blessed dew talisman. Its quite useful for exploring when low level. When exploring you dont know where is the next checkpoint so want to save the potion as much as possible. And with the time you wander aimlessly can pretty much heal completely
Tnx man. Your videos helped me a lot.. I always watch them when I think I finished an area. Than you show me that I did not really finished it and I’ll go an pick them things up I’ll missed. This game is huge and it’s so easy to miss things
Great stuff! Heads up, their are statues on the mainland that if you interact, will point you to the dungeons in the area. It will show up on your map as well once activated until you actually enter the dungeon it is leading you to.
Specifically they’re near every catacombs type dungeon. And I believe there will also be a ghost or specter somewhere nearby that is also pointing it’s arms in the direction of the entrance to the catacombs. Cheers!
Another great vid! Fantastic narration, quality info and overall fun to watch!! Love it 🥰
You are the most helpful person on CZcams for this game.. brilliant led out description off the map and the areas we are heading into.. great job sir.
crazy effort in these vids, big ups dude. i gotta follow
Great content mate. I see that your channel hasn't done too much elden ring content yet. Just subbed and hoping to see more soon. Greatly informative!
i really like these videos, great way to get some stuff that i missed or didn‘t fully explore! i haven’t really explored this area, since i continued with the „main path“ and went to the lake of liuna
Easily my favorite Elden Ring area content. Love the clarity and positive vibes
great video!
just wanna point out - night cav and Bird are bosses you find basicly in every region, sometimes more then once.
the bird axe is especially usefull early as it recovers FP on kill equally to the HP Blade you find later in the game. just put it in your offhand while dualwielding and you benefit from the effect no matter you can wield it or not.
Absolutely loving these videos. For a From Soft n00b like me they are a great way of experiencing more than I would otherwise be able to. Great work!
Liked and subscribed my dude. Great video with map markers and everything. Hoping you continue the series!
Bro the blessed dew is amazing, it just means when I'm walking around not in combat I'm basically guaranteed to be at full hp without using estos next time I do fight
The more i hear abouit this blessed dew, the more i like it...might be better than the bloody antler daggers' thing I've had attached to me which restores HP on a critical.
I'm not sure i can get a critical hit with one handed. i dunno. I like turtles.
@@snickle1980 you can do a critical after staggering an enemy by holding R1. Back stabs, openjng after parrying, and doing the same to sleeping enemies all count as criticals. Blessed due is still not that good. Just imagine when you have more vigor and it's still a slow ticking heal.
@@GodFist66 do the block counterattacks (when you attack after an enemy bounces off your shield) count as criticals? I figured they might because They have that unique sound cue. But I realized I don’t know for certain.
Right? I throw it on whenever I'm running around, but when I enter combat I swap it out. Might help that I got two talisman slots when I first got it, and now I have three anyways.
@@okonkwojones They don't count as crits, but they're a great way to open enemies up for crits by breaking their stance.
Your videos are nice to watch cause you sounds like a nice, warm person. I subscribed :)
Great video!! Well done, looking forward to seeing the Lakes video!
this guy out here having so much faith in my boss-fighting abilities: "I'm sure you're going to absolutely smash it." he has so much confidence in me
Seriously this particular boss is so frustrating. I can’t even move because of the imps.
These are always so helpful, thank you for the video.
I love your videos. So helpful and the giggling when you flub up is so funny/adorbs. Keeping making awesome content. 😄
Subbed thank you for the tips mate ;) I’m already level 80 but I’m still going to go back and do some stuff u mentioned typically killing those night enemies :) Waiting for the next area missable stuff ;)
Great videos. Keep up the good work. Already gave me locations to stuff I missed. Thanks.
Subscribed!! Top notch content dude!!
@ 1:59 if you had first jumped more to the right, you would have landed on the top of the round tower. On top of that round tower is a chest containing the Great Turtle Shell Shield. It comes with the Barricade Shield skill, and scales mainly with strength I believe. Stamina recovery increases by +3/s (7.4%), even if two-handing a weapon in the other hand. This effect stacks with the effect of the Green Turtle Talisman and the Pickled Turtle Neck. Once again another great video Dom and muchly appreciated.
Try removing the Blessed dew talisman and replacing it. Also, there is a mine too, in the lower area by the demihumans and past the giant poisonous flowers. There are upgrade material and a demihuman boss with the Rusty Anchor. There are also two caves you missed in the same area, one near a church guarded by a Kaiden sell sword and one near the site of grace Pool. They hold two talismans, but the pool one has the harder foe. You can also find a ranged weapon in the tower near the start of the peninsula. A Scarab you need to pick off from range is in a wooded area near the poison swamp, and offers an incantation related to the area. Finally, the Erdtree’s protector holds a Flask option. Hope this helps! Almost forgot the low-int staff and Magic you can get from the giant demihuman in their ruins.
I'm trying to find the two caves and the scarab, could you be more specific?
Brother, I love your videos. I like to take things very slow in open world games and try to not move to the next area until I'm well equipped for what's to come, and boy does your guides help me with that.
Great video, can’t wait for the Stormveil castle episode I feel like I missed so much in the ruins
Dude I immediatly loved your videos. Gentle voice and a little bit funny from time to time. Keep it up!
Ah I feel happy to say I didn't miss anything in your limgrave video or this video yet. I'm trying to do a completionist run by map section, saving stormveil for last. Holy crap the amount of things I missed on my first playthrough... definitely recapturing some of that fascination from the first couple of weeks
Great video, really helped me grab some of the stuff you mentioned and that I had no idea about.
Great tips. Really helpful, looking forward to your next few videos on other regions!
Just a little info, Evergaol is pronounced, Ever-jail. Gaol being the old 18th or 19th century English spelling before it was changed.
So in essence its a an eternal jail for the particular individual who is unfortunately trapped there.
Blaidd calls it a prison when you first meet him.
It was a place in bloodborne where a dude with a bag will kill you and you end up jail its called hyperion goal or something like that thanks for the history lesson
The spritwell in Tip #2 also takes you up the tower of the rampart ruins for a very nice early game shield.
These videos have been very helpful! I love this open world and so much to miss. Thanks!
Brilliant video that really helped me out. You’ve gained a subscriber Sir.
Wonderful series. Artfully done. I found a couple neat things I'd missed. Thanks.
These guides have earned a sub from me. Honestly, I’m surprised you don’t have more subs. I’m sure that that will come
Love this channel, especially your kind, friendly and polite style!
Fantastic video, subbed.
Cant wait for part 3!
I actually run the blessed dew talisman to conserve flasks - I'm just bad enough that I take chip damage here and there in most fights, and having the blessed dew running while I'm out running around and exploring usually means I'm full up by the next fight. It's very helpful for those long stretches in legacy dungeons between graces, since you can corner up and heal while saving your flasks for the bigger fights.
Great as ever Dom! Keep it up!
Again wonderful, wonderful and helpful video. Thank you so much for all your hard work, time and effort!!👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks bro. Ive wanted to give up on this game so many times. I know i can do this, videos like yours really are the best. Im a samurai build. Any tips on what i should build towards. Im thinking a bleed build with dual katanas. Idk. Much love homie, god bless!
Great series just found these.! Thank you for creating these
I really like this series, i didnt even know i missed so much of the castle! I subbed
Thanks for the vid, helps a lot to see more of the game
Hey man, great video’s. I’ve found quite a bit on my own, but like you I’m a big completionist. Watching your video’s help make sure I find every little thing.
Also, you’ve got a nice voice to listen to and I really like your laugh. Arr you a voice over actor in Darks Souls 1?😜
Good content. Enjoyed it and did some of the tips I missed. Got a new subscriber, keep up the great videos!
I think the Blessed Dew Talisman is one of the best in the game! Wear it always except during boss fights when you need the slot for something else and you’ll significantly reduce your usage of healing flasks. It’s slow, but it adds up.
Love your videos :):) thanks mate.
You do a great job. Your info is super helpful
excellent guides you make. thanks!
good stuff man keep it coming!
These videos are amazing. Thank you!
100% you have my sub. No spoilers. Lots of info and help. Inspiration to explore even. And a great personality 🛡🗡🔥
Great video. Very clear and to the point. Thanks man
as a newbie to the series im proud of how many of these I found on my own but the subtly of some of the side quest was new to me
I haven’t seen them all but I really hope you show all the areas secrets these videos are some of the best I have seen. So many people say get this spell or weapon then spread run to it and I get lost or die constantly trying to get to them.
The Deathbird's axe is actually not bad because each kill gives you FP. Great for mixed builds and long dungeons
Another amazing vid! This is my first souls game. 20 hours in, level 27 and still can't get Margit passed half HP. I won't quit though!!
Great series, thanks for the tips! One easy tip for you and viewers is use the spirit stream you used in tip 3 and jump on the roof of the tower right next to you for a shield. It is not 100% damage resist UNLESS you use its' art of war, which is barricade shield. Could be useful in early game. Subscribed.
Thanks for this! Also just southwest of Oridys’s Rise there is a tower on the cliff. Just get on your mount and there’s a spiritspring below and hop on top of the tower. There you will find the Great Turle Shell with a Barricade skill.
Was going to make a comment about that but couldn’t remember what I found there lol.
It also regens stamina but it’s not great. Still nice to have especially early game
Great stuff. Missed a couple of these!
Love the things you missed videos; just fantastic!
blessed dew talisman is pretty good, especially early on when you don't have a ton of HP, it gives 2 hp per second. it's great at keeping you topped off from minor damage while exploring, especially dungeons if you take your time and go slow. I still pop it on sometimes if I'm getting up from the game for a minute.
Appreciate that. I figured i'd look at the comment section befor eth video because i dont want to spoil too much.
Also worth mentioning is that it seems to stack with other HP regen effects like the one you can attach to the Physick flask. Far from a useless talisman in my experience.
@@KaiserRexatron exactly.. I use this and the regen tear and it pretty much negates poison damage entirely and slows down rot considerably. but mostly I use it for regen of chip damage while exploring
Love the vids!! Keep them coming please!
Sir, you have created an amazing series. I didn’t know there was another church located in Weeping Peninsula, and I’m already 70+ hrs in…. I need my sacred tears!!!!! 🤣
thanks for putting these together. great job. they are very helpful.
Your videos have been super helpful! I would have never found a few of those dungeons
Amazing series! I have most of this early game stuff but there are things in almost all of these that I missed!
Also, there's a tower at the top of where the spirit spring mentioned in tip 3 takes you. You can take that spirit spring and if you aim just right make it onto the top of the tower. There's an item up there (though I forget what it is).
i've relied heavily on Lutel the headless! such a beast summons.
Such great information given in a way where I would enjoy a pint with ya. Cheers mate :)
I'm level 101 and struggling though the capital. But slowly going through your videos as I need breaks. Thanks. Great channel.
Subbed - great content, keep up the great work :)
Great video! Wonderfully helpful. I found it interesting that the bosses that you said might give me trouble, I had no trouble with but the one you said shouldn't give me too much trouble royalty kicked my rear. Anyway, awesome job!
Another quality video, good job!
Thanks for this video. Makes it easier to love this game!
Health regenerating talisman coupled with the health back on critical hits talisman makes dungeon crawling much easier since there is no way to get the estus back, short of resting of course. It is even viable to block and counter with weapons only if you can lend a critical afterwards. And in the early areas you can. There is a risk of outright killing an enemy before you crit it - in that case you miss on health from the critical. But regardless passive health regen is very nice addition.
These guides have become invaluable to me. Don't know what I'd do without them (well, I'd miss a lot) but it's become a pretty reliable rule: if Dom calls it "mediocre", it's awesome. Anyways. The ax the death bird gives you restores health. So yeah.
